Corn Exchange Manchester
● Open“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”

Nando's Manchester - White City
● Open“An ideal place to go with teenage children for a birthday meal. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the food is very good. I like being able to choose my own sauce from the side counter and to top up on soft drinks. We all enjoyed it and the food was reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.”

Mowgli Street Food
● Open“Had a great experience at Mowgli’s in Manchester’s Corn Exchange. Booking highly recommended. Great drinks list with a range of delicious cocktails and interesting wines. We ordered a bottle of the Romanian Pinot Noir which was very enjoyable. Food was great, but it is absolutely tiny portions, and as a table of 7 it would have been handy had the wait-staff advised us about portion sizes and encourage us to get two of each or something. Everyone was very excited about the yoghurt bombs so we ended up ordering another round of those, as well as the sticky chicken and angry chicken. The curries were excellent too, and we ordered more plus extra roti’s (flat breads). Three bowls of rice was plenty for the table. The bill worked out at £29 a head which was extremely good value.”

Cafe in the park
● Open40 Mayor's Road, Hale, Altrincham WA15 9RP, United Kingdom“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

-
Peaky Blinders Manchester
● Open“Came as part of a hen party on a Friday night, the cabaret and music in between were both great. None of our party of 10 had been before but we would all go again. Drinks package was great. Two minor things were, with where we were located it was hard for us all to watch our drinks when other people came around and started using our tables (the two big wooden tables near the stage) one table would have been suitable for us all if they were separated. Also some of the party ordered food and it didn't arrive. Even so we all still had a great night.”

Premier Inn Manchester (Heaton Park) hotel
● Open“Stayed here solo while on a two-day break, was fairly priced and also easy to get to and from the city centre on the tram. Also love the location right next to Heaton Park, started off one of my mornings with a walk around it. The room itself, like the hotel, wasn't exactly modern but it was still very comfortable and spacious so can't ask for much more! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked myself in for breakfast on my last morning, which was tasty. Really enjoyed my stay here, look forward to the next one!”

Premier Inn Manchester (Handforth) hotel
● Open“Best welcome ever. This is an older premier inn, with actual keys. After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. Both kind, friendly and chatty 10 out of 10. Even gave us 2 little bottles of wine. Unbelievable but what a random act of kindness. Yes the hotel is old but it's clean, beds still comfy, room has everything you need and staff on hand. Location is walkable into handforth which has pubs, restaurants and take aways. Location feels very safe. 10 minutes easy drive to the airport. Thanks.”

-
Zizzi - Manchester Piccadilly
● Open“My sister and I visited here before a show. She had a voucher from work that she wanted to use that allowed us to order from a set menu. The food was great, apart from the aranchini balls (they seemed a bit greasy). The service was also really good. The only bad thing was we were told at the end that we couldn't give a tip on our cards but we didn't have cash since noone (including them) is accepting cash anymore. We felt a bit bad but we were going to a theatre show and wouldn't have had time to go to a cash machine and come back. Definitely would go back here in the future.”
