“Great ambience. My Mum has arthritis and struggles with larger cups, the staff brought different cups to see which she could manage best. Had pancakes with bacon plus 2 eggs, delicious food and coffee.”

Cafe at Golden Days
“Lovely, light and warm cafe tucked away in this small garden centre, with very helpful staff. Extensive menu of tasty savoury lunches, specials, sweets and drinks. Good quality food and nice touches like the well prepared and dressed side salad accompaniments to toasties etc. Well recommended.”
Que Delicia
“Probably the best burgers I have ever tasted from a food van, and the rest of the menu is just as good. I would highly recommend the piri-piri chicken and halloumi wrap with everything on. Order ahead or get there early though as it is very popular and gets busy quickly. especially around lunch times.”
Turves Road Café & Coffee
“I go into this Cafe pretty much every day and have done for many years. I really enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, there is always someone to chat to and the food is amazing as well. Great value for money and an overall great place to be.”
The Damson Tree
“Ordered afternoon tea for two as a surprise for my friend. Despite being very busy and I was last minute with the order, Jo fitted us in for the next day. The presentation, delivery and food were all outstanding! Great treat idea for friends and family.”
Le Petit Bijou
“Friendly and attentive staff & Generous portions. Usually sceptical over salad’s in Café’s, but this was one of the best I’ve had in a local cafe in a while.”

Cuppaccino Bistro
“Went for breakfast brunch with my son. Excellent value for money, he had the Big Set Breakfast and I had the Skinny Breakfast and we both swapped out an item and replaced it with extra hash brown/poached egg, (which were poached to perfection). Felt covid safe, temperature taken on arrival, hand sanitizer, tables well spaced out. Will definitely go back, especially as they have breakfast and drinks loyalty cards.”
Turkish Bistro
“Me and my son went here for the first time today. Beautiful food, reasonably priced, lovely relaxed atmosphere and staff. We will be returning soon.”
The James Watts
“Great pub. Open mic night every other Wednesday night. Really relaxed atmosphere and friendly people! Made me feel very welcome.”
The Church Inn
“We were looking for a cosy pub to wait out the worst of a rainstorm and Church Inn was absolutely perfect! We were lucky enough to be in on the last day of their festive menu, which was both extremely tasty and great bang for buck. The staff were so polite and attentive despite clearly being very busy, and the decor is was beautiful. Dog friendly too!”
The Hesketh
“I've been to this pub a few years ago & found it to be a nice pub with a good carvery. I went there a couple of weeks ago & found it friendly, updated & the new owners trying so hard to make it work. Food lovely and staff helpful. I find some of the recent reviews picky & a little bit OTT? Not sure what their agenda is but I'll definitely be back tokeep a new business going!”
Beanmachines Coffee Co.
“Great service from initial contact, through advice and machine selection to installation.”
Starbucks Coffee
“Was a nice visit with my 4 year old daughter for a little coffee date. They made her a lovely little hot chocolate with cream and they made it ready to drink temperature so she didn't burn her mouth. The place was clean and setup covid safe with good social distance measures and sanitiser etc. The only thing is the prices of coffee but that was already known but not bad for a treat.”
The Little Hatch
“Great service. Great food. Access through rear of Europa building.”

“We’ve just had the most delicious corporate lunch delivered to our offices, so fresh and beautifully presented would highly recommend!”

“Went in on Wednesday with my mum and 8 montg old daugher and had the tea for 2. A lovely home made scone, pot of cream and jam and a big pot of tea... for 4.80! Bargin, and really nice! The service was lovely and friendly, perfect little spot for a catch up with friends. Will be going again for sure.”
The shack
“Good plain English cafe in park. Good social distancing to order and pay. Great on a cold day. Not expensive”

“Really like it in here. There doesn't seem to be any other place in Heald Green doing an early weekend breakfast. The John Lewis cafe is expensive and a bit posh, so this place is a great cheap eat with the kids.”
