“Difficult to find from Sat Nav but we got there in the end. It was perfect for us as we were there for The Dream Syndicate at Band On The Wall which was less than five minutes walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was busy as some football fans from Germany were there too. Their team got beaten 7-0 off Manchester City so understand subdued.”

“Amazing place for the whole family grab some food in the restaurant starting with meatballs and chips that are one of a kind. Through the maze of awesome products and in the end at the warehouse if you and your kids want to misbehave you can ride on top of the flatbed trolleys. In conclusion IKEA Manchester is the place to be for shopping and a way to have a nice day out.”

“Hotel was good for the price over Christmas period. Bed was comfy and went straight to sleep. Breakfast was nice in the morning, got a room with breakfast included, but not worth £12.50 if not booked. Would definitely return.”

“Had a lovely stay. Great location walking distance to Central Manchester. Breakfast is good, nice staff. Parking is expensive at Q Piazza. Free to park bays 8pm to 8am outside and other cheaper car parks around 10 mins walk”

“As soon as you enter the venue you are welcomed by a lovely relaxing smell which is throughout the building to the rooms. The staff greeted us and let us store our luggage until check in time. We came back after getting lunch at a spot around the corner, early check in was not available. The room was really big - we booked the standard room - and decor was 10/10. Really chic and industrial. Love that you have a fridge in your room and given nice water and coffee/tea selections. We did not dine in the restaurant unfortunately, however it looked and smelled great with a really chilled atmosphere. The only thing I could suggest to enhance our stay would be if there was a 2nd mirror in the room as it was a struggle for us both to get ready together. Also, the kettle was quite an odd choice for the rest of the room being so well decorated... it was just an old black plastic one (just a small point to make but it didn't effect our stay). Will be back. The location was perfectly handy for getting around the city. Right beside China Town and the Gay Village.”

I got about 90% vegan dishes, and they were all delicious (see the pic I’ve uploaded). This is specific, but I absolutely love the nori. “It is well located as it's close to the airport and motorway network around it. The parking facility is free and also the wifi. This is a saving of at least £10 compared to other similar chain of hotels. The room was of that of a 4* or at a stretch even a 5* standard. Very calm, restful place with a restaurant. The beefeater restaurant has an great choice of dishes on the menu,we had the meal deal which includes two courses plus a alcoholic drink plus unlimited breakfast. The quality of food is excellent and staff are excellent hard working and polite.
