“I volunteered a couple of times at the lunch club on Friday and had really great experiences. The staff and volunteers at Trinity House were wonderful and welcoming. I spent one morning preparing and cooking food with Oliver - A volunteer, who in his own time had prepared food and a lovely apple crumble for over 30 people. For a couple of pounds (if I remember correctly) members of the local community are able to get a tasty and healthy two course meal - with plenty of leftovers if anyone wants any! I also volunteer once a week through the LINK Good Neighbours befriending service. I help a lady with mobility issues and her daughter with simple tasks, such as going to the shops together. Just an hour or two of your week can really make a difference in someone's life. The work they are doing here at Trinity House is fantastic and they a real asset to the local community.”

The facility is a Private Medical Centre, it also hosts the English Institute of Sport in Manchester, and some NHS services and Sports Science/Sports Medicine research. There is an extensive physiology and biomechanics research lab, environmental and altitude chamber, cryotherapy etc. It also has X-ray, 3T MRI, Diagnostic Ultrasound and DEXA scanning. It can perform V02 Max testing, Exercise ECG and has an extensive rehabilitation gym, indoor 60m track and 4G Astroturf indoor pitch. Many different doctors, physiotherapists and allied health professions hold clinics there.”

“I’ve changed dentists at least 5 times over the last 10 years due to moving areas and I went for my first check up with Nicholas Potter who honestly has been the best dentist I’ve seen. He’s pointed out some minor issues with my teeth which aren’t urgent but he took the time to explain the potential issues in the future, which make perfect sense. I can’t believe no one pointed them out to before as they are blantantly obvious (receding gum on one of my canines which is not far from the root!) and the back my incisors (front teeth) are concave so he recommended filling them in to prevent build up. I’ve always been wary of dentists recommending work thinking they are in it for the money but he put no pressure on at all, and because he took the time to explain clearly I’m not concerned for the time being but will definitely be coming back to have the work done at some point.”
