We visited the showroom a good few times to make sure we were 100% happy with the design and layout of our new kitchen and to look at all the options of granite and worktops. Chris worked seamlessly with our builder to make sure everything was delivered on time and to a high standard. The outcome is beautiful and we would highly recommend.”

“Wish ide take a picture but was to keen to eat! I'm vegan and had the vegetable skewer starter and then the aubergine curry, it all tasted so fresh and healthy. The husband really enjoyed his chicken saag to, he said it was full of flavor. Great prices with the discount to, good proper authentic food. Food hot when arrived and delivered by a lovley gentleman. 100% recommend.”

“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”

“Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu”

“Load of us stayed her for a few nights for a family wedding and we had the best time ever. The staff are amazing, went above and beyond for our help and needs. the rooms are fresh and clean. Vending machine, extra tea and coffee etc, clean bedding and towels all at reception in case you need more. Pity the old rectory didn’t have the same standards.”

“This shop/store is amazing ,, and super pet friendly .. I went here today after being “turfed out” of Dunelm with a 12 week old Dalmatian puppy,,,, I understand stores have policies but Dunelm need to move with the times it’s 2023.. Sofology have dog bowls upon entry, the staff are super friendly particularly Paris and the other lady I think her name is Amanda,, super helpful , super smiley and an asset to the company… I haven’t been in this store before but would highly recommend it,,, furniture is stunning, modern and very reasonably priced…..loved it Staff are super friendly .., would highly recommend”

“I think Stockport swimming club is amazing because they have pushed me right when I was in the little pool till the big pool and I am getting more confidence every time I go there you should give it a go I also recommend this club to all new swimmers”

“First time I’ve tried this place, I had a Mexican burger with jalapeño on. The burger was thick and so good! Normally some takeaways there burgers look like road kill about 3mm thick. This was the opposite! Well impressed! The chips was great too! Would recommend this place!”

“Been great and very easy process buying our sofa from DFS. Lots to choose from and got to say we travelled around a few places looking, sitting and debating but all agreed DFS had the nicer sofas that also felt sturdier and like they would stand the test of time. We were treated exceptionally well by the staff who brought us drinks and as much as you could tell they were trying to sell the furniture to us (that is their job after all) they still respected our space and gave us distance when we required it. We chatted with few different staff members but ultimately we were dealt with by Derek who was truly lovely. He was knowledgeable about the products and their pros and cons and he kept us posted every step of the way, phoning us personally when there was a little wrinkle in the process- an easily sorted one - and we appreciated this very much. We felt very much that we've got a good deal for our money and had a great range to choose from and that the staff were welcoming, friendly and respectful.”

“The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”
