“What can I say except an absolute EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. I ordered three throws but on receipt of them two were a slightly different colour due to the batch being different. I wanted a particular batch as I preferred it and spoke to them about it. The customer service team advised they had two of the batch I preferred and they happily sent me those two as well as a package and return label to send the other i didnt want back at no cost to me. Now if that isn't great customer service then I dont know what is. They cared almost as if I was family. I am very happy with the blankets and they look beautiful on the sofa even my husband say they looks amazing and he never tends to care about anything decornin the house. “I have had 2 tattoos by Emma and Katie now and both times were such a lovely experience. From initial contact, discussing my design they were patient, communication was excellent and their ideas really helped me bring my design to life. Their pre care and welcoming nature made me feel so relaxed. Their studio is BEAUTIFUL! So clean, fresh, homely and relaxing. Even the bathroom is so stylish and clean! You can tell how much love and effort they have put into their studio! They are thorough with their advice and preparation and explain everything they are doing at each stage to make sure you are comfortable. Their attention to detail with the work they do is phenomenal! They are gentle when tattooing, make sure you are at ease and give you plenty of breaks with coffee and refreshments when needed. After care is the best, I have received! A full breakdown of what I need to do and a sample product of the best skincare to apply. On top of all this my tattoos are beautiful, and I will definitely be going back for more tattoos!”

“I visited Jori to make an initial enquiry and was advised to email with details. I had a pretty vague idea which she developed and came up with a stunning full colour artwork within a couple of days. A week later I was booked in and the job done. Her time guesstimate was spot on. Very relaxed, very professional and to my amazement the end result was even more detailed than the original artwork. She exceeded all expectations, I cant recommend her highly enough.”

“Nico is an absolute gem! Not only are they an amazing piercer, their knowledge and expertise about jewellery, placement and all things shiny are amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome from the first time I met them. I’ve had my Medusa done by them and multiple earring changes and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I also recommended my mum to them and now she won’t go anywhere else either. Furthermore, an absolute massive bonus is that they are a disabled friendly studio and I was easily able to wheel my mum into the piercing room without a problem (which compared to other well known piercing places is a massive bonus as they are no longer disabled friendly). I cannot express enough how amazing Nico is, so you’ll definitely have to find out for yourself! You won’t regret it :) 100/10!”

My most recent move, to Manchester, lead me to Beany. Beany is so chilled out and suffers no nonsense. I felt completely at home from the get go. She's given me several memories already, including two perfectly considered memorials for friends since past, some fun pieces to remind me of personal events, and a masterful back piece in reference to Alexander McQueen (our favourite designer) with her own dark nature vibe. “Lee is one of those artists that you'll wish you'd found sooner before getting inked. His work looks photographic if that's what you're after. He has done Dali work on my wife, Japanese work on her brother as well as H.R. Giger. The man's gonna go far and I'll be able to tell people I got my tattoo/s from the artist in the earlier days of his career. Plus he's a hard working family man so you know your hard earned cash is going towards supporting his family. If you think you need time to contemplate what to get, book in now because there's usually a long waiting list. He did the tattoo you see in one sitting. I mention this because sometimes tattooists can't be bothered filling in the tattoo same day as the outline. Badass tattoos come to those who wait..”
