We were greeted by two of the nicest, most helpful people I have come across in a shop for quite some time! “Just want to shout from the rooftops about how fabulous Hill & Hill The Jewellers are. I’m not friend nor family so this really is the most genuine review. They were amazing over the phone on my first enquiry, and then more so when we called in to book an appt. They made up a gorgeous gift box for my daughter with her appt card as her ear piercing was a Christmas gift - complete with glittery star confetti, tissue and ribbons! They were so knowledgeable, reassuring and patient with my daughter, had a fabulous choice of earrings and she had a full 45 minute appointment to herself in a really lovely lounge area and private upstairs studio complete with all the privacy and mirrors every little girls heart would desire. I was even surprised to find this much nicer experience was no more than I was quoted for the shop window experience Claire’s offers. I’ve witnessed several times now the care they have taken in helping customers, choose jewellery for themselves or as gifts at varying price points and would absolutely make them my first choice for purchases in the future. How fabulous to have such a traditionally customer focused business that really seem to care in our town”

“Fabulous, fabulous food, nice staff, WAY better than the ridiculous dire Altrincham Market. I left the Tender Cow (TC) in the Market after a disgusting meal and found this brilliant cafe. Tender Cow has No customer care, just a very bad attitude, my steak was swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At Altrincham Market silly prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to Tender Cow to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant.”

“A brilliant, independent, spacious shop - children's, men's and ladies' shoes, boots, sandals etc. Not your average shoe shop - much more. Friendly, patient, personable 'staff'. Array of styles, colours, sizes, etc. Great bargains in the sale. Quality footwear, wide range of practical, everyday, different and exquisite stock. Prices are comparable to all good shoe shops - but definitely worth every penny.”

“Genuine honest and caring people. I live in castleford west Yorkshire and ordered flowers from them by mistake as there's a barkers local to me. They showed care by getting in touch to see if there was a problem with collecting and i explained my error so they gave me a refund which I wasn't really entitled to. The next time I'm ever in the area I'm going to buy some flowers from them and thank them so much for the understanding they showed.”

“Very handy store with convenient parking, not always the cheapest but is very ethical so you cant complain. Never had an issue with any product from Co-op and are usually of the slightly higher quality and that is why the prices can be slightly more as you pay for quality. Timperley co-op is well maintained and the staff are always pretty chatty and polite and the store is well stocked.”

“Visited the store to look for curtains (didn't have the size in-store for the style I wanted) and to have some lunch at the cafe, ordered a toasted tea cake (they're massive I only had half, it was enough), a banoffe muffin and of course a hot chocolate, which was all absolutely delicious. The £1 cake with any main offer meant 3 teas, a hot chocolate, two soups, a toasted tea cake and 3 cakes came to just £22!! Brilliant. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful.”
