I had ordered the egg curry along with the mushroom xacuti and loved both. The portions are also generous so would highly recommend to people who want to try goan food or just want to be reminded of back home. The couple and their family were also extremely sweet and welcoming. Will 100% order again.”

“Hidden Gem! Can’t express how amazing this place is! Really heart warming and wholesome food. You can definitely tell it’s cooked with tradition and love for their cuisine. Me and my friend ordered the fried chicken nasi lamek, kind prawn sambal, roti and chicken satay (the most tender and juicy chicken satay I’ve ever had in my life! Omfg) everything was unreal, cooked to perfection. We also got to chat with Aunty Lotus herself! Everything in this place really feels like your eating round your Malaysian / Asian aunties house! They offer a 15% off on takeaway orders which is an added bonus :) We ordered a collection and when we got home noticed we were missing a portion of chips and we called them and they resolved the issue straight away and within 10 minutes they delivered a portion of chips! They even put onion bhajis in the bag as an apology! Cannot fault this place at all. Great quality food, great customer service! 10/10 recommend.”

“I had heard good things about this place from a friend and as I was travelling home from work my son amd I decided to swing in. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff are really lovely and the food was top notch. Needless to say we left feeling very full and happy. “What a lovely restaurant. I went with the In Laws so we had a table of 4. Service was exceptional and they couldn’t do enough for you. Drinks came quick and they were always asking if we are ok. The interior was lovely and a chilled vibe to the place. Having never had Sri Lankan food I didn’t know what to expect. It’s kinda like Indian but more spicier so be prepared. We really enjoyed it. Will go again very soon and will look to see if they do take out because I would prefer it to an Indian on a Saturday night at home. This restaurant was a very welcome surprise you won’t be disappointed.”

“Beautifully cooked curry in the heart of Manchester! The butter chicken Tikka Massala was perfectly flavored and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The naan was really well done as well. I would only say they should put more chicken in it, it seemed like a lot of sauce and not enough substance. But I still really loved it. My girlfriend got kadhai paneer and really enjoyed it as well. Lots of flavors and lots of substance to that dish. Drinks were great as well! The staff seemed kind of all over the place as there were 3 people who came to our table to ask us what we wanted in 2 minutes. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I would love to go again!”
