“Tiny local cafe, with quirky menu, run by mother & son team with the Best chai around. Pancakes with pretty much anything you want on them, some homemade tray bakes, and the usual breakfast fare. Plain surroundings and no frills, but cheap and friendly.”

“I have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to fill my palate since I have been in England and Scotland for over 40 days. Nothing was in comparison to what I am used to back in California where I grew up until I ate at Viet Guy. The atmosphere is a classy Vietnamese restaurant like in Little Saigon in Westminster California when it became a haven for Vietnamese Food and businesses in the 80s. Manchester you are very lucky. This review was from dining here for six days while waiting for my departure back to the USA. There will be one more time before we go to make it lucky 7.”

“Best fish and chips and I've had in a long time. My grandchildren recommended this place to me when they wanted some chips so we went. I will definitely be back again, the staff are lovely and friendly, portion sizes are huge (maybe too big) and prices are around the average for the area. “I love this place! I've tried a fair few different pizza places in my hunt to get a really nice stuffed crust and this is by far the best. Had my last order delivered by Kevin who was so fast! And made the effort to come all the way up to our front door even though we're in a top floor flat with no lift. Many other drivers from other establishments refuse to come up. But Kevin brought it to our door. Unfortunately my pizza had mushrooms on when I asked for it not to have, but the very quickly resolved it in a professional way and a replacement pizza was at my door within 20 minutes! Amazing customer service! Cannot fault them.”

“One of the only good kebab places around the area. They actually marinate the chicken and its always served juicy, grilled n tender, instead of giving you the flavourless burnt cardboard pieces you'd typically expect. Also the doner kebabs are excellent, they don't use the typical cheap doner stacks that you'd find anywhere else. Their chilli sauce is also great. One of the only places where quality has gone up as the years progress. I'd recommend this place over all the other places in the area, this joint really puts them all to shame.”
