City centre eats in Manchester

“The Fee Good Club came recommended by a friend who lives in Manchester and it lived up to its hype. I immorally felt comfortable when I walked in. The waitress greeted me and told me to sit anywhere. The space is super open with lots of tables. Perfect if you want to spend the day working. There are also window benches that looked super comfortable and cozy. I ordered the Meat Breakfast and a flat white (pictured) and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in the uk. The portion was very generous, and unlike a lot of places they were not afraid of spices and seasoning. As I was leaving I noticed they had a small shop in the corner and couldn’t help but buy a really cool bucket hat (I was also tempted to get one of their Bags). It’s owned by a lesbian couple which made me feel instantly welcomed as an lgbtq person. They also have a large following on social media where they post feel good content! Highly recommend you stop here if you’re visiting Manchester!”

“We came to the dog walking evening on the 27th of June. We had wanted to visit the gardens since they opened but this gave us, and our furry friends, the ideal opportunity to explore. What a resounding success it seemed to be. We absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the next one in July. Everybody we spoke to said the same as us. The gardens themselves are beautiful and we all enjoyed exploring. It is a place that is ever changing and I would like to see it in the different seasons. I really hope the dog friendly evenings remain a regular thing.”

“An amazing small place in the heart of Manchester serving original ideas. The food is delicious, and as for the service staff were very helpful and welcoming since the time we arrived. We tried the fondue, and I'd definitely recommend it if you love cheese. In general, this restaurant is a must visit for any food lover that finds themselves in Manchester. All the best, and we'll be back again soon.”

“Amazing place! Absolutely delicious and a really nice atmosphere inside. We went on a Monday night and it was pretty busy, but they were happy to seat us despite not having a reservation. Service was fast and friendly. Would 100% visit again.”

The staff made my birthday special they made such an effort with my cake and cocktail, singing and recording it and asking permission to post it what a lovely gesture. “Didn't expect this from this place. Mrs was talking about going there for a long time. We went during the afternoon, it wasn't busy so we got seated straight away. The atmosphere and decor was amazing, I loved how the new modern glass building was connected to the old town hall building really blended in well. Service was as expected but the food well my burger meal was delicious hot and just hit the spot. The Mrs breakfast and cake looked good also and she wasn't disappointed”

“This place is really impressive. Stunning building full of delicious food and drink offerings. You could spend a whole day here. The ramen place was very good, I also had a side of steak and eggs. “The beer lovers favourite - steins the size of your head and kebabs filled with meat (although they do have veg and vegan options). The decor is very stylish so it doesn't feel like you're eating in a pub (not that there's out wrong with that, but interior here is quite posh). They always seem to have a table for two ready so I've never booked, but if you like kebabs and beer I can 100% recommend a visit.”

“It's a theatre upstairs with a good hall on the ground floor, serving samples of cuisine from Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, among others. Halal chicken is available from the bao and Japanese vendors. Great, friendly service. I look forward to visiting again.”

“What a deal! Happy Hour Sunday to Friday 5-9pm for £10 pizza and 2*cocktails for £10. We also ordered a large Nachos for £6. We sat outside that is covered with heaters as it was busy and full inside. Service was great and the food too. Portions were generous and filling for the 3 of us. Thank you. Definitely recommend.”

“Went after the footy match and wow, it was certainly worth the wait. I opted for the Tokyo bowl. Chicken Katsy curry, rice, crispy seasoned chips, and a couple veggie spring rolls with a spicy/sweet dipping sauce. The rolls were lovely and crisp, but the dipping sauce really made them pop. The fried we great, esp when you dipped them in the Katsy curry. The chicken was well seasoned and had a nice crispy exterior. The only issue I have is there was hardly enough Katsy curry, so I had to order an additional pot! Please put a little extra curry on the dish guys! Nonetheless, reasonably priced and tastes great!”
