They were both treated at Soothe and we were so happy to see incredible changes in both our boy's - relief from physical pain, development in hearing and speech, and improvements in their emotional wellbeing. Initially, we weren't sure whether the boys would behave, during the treatments, but with expert help they were made to feel comfortable & relaxed. Overall we were very happy with all aspects of the treatment & service.”

“We have been seeing Dr Oppenheim for the last 7 years. Our son was not attending school and had very high anxiety. Dr Oppenheim assessed and then diagnosed him with ASD and gave us step by step instructions and support to help him back into school. Which were successful. We have had appointments every 3 months without fail through the many ups and downs that come with school & teenage years. Dr Oppenheim has always been correct in her assessment and picked up on any issues we need to address. Her secretary has been amazing too especially when we have required urgent appointments by telephone or zoom. I have recommended Dr Oppenheim to many people because of her thorough assessment, caring but to the point discussions with my son and her ability to talk on his level. Her experience is invaluable.”

“At the start of my Invisalign process, I had to have both of my top wisdom teeth removed. I was super nervous about it! However, Carolyn and Rachel were both amazing - they took the time to listen to my worries and provide genuine reassurance. I really appreciated that and it made me feel much more at ease! When the removal appointment arrived, Albert was absolutely brilliant. He constantly checked on me throughout to make sure I was ok and communicated what to expect and why. I also really appreciated his sense of humour which lightened the mood! Rachel came into the room after my teeth were out to make sure I was alright, since she knew how worried I'd been up to then. If that wasn't enough, she even messaged me the following day to make sure I was feeling ok and recovering well. To me, that is going above and beyond for a patient. “I have been learning for a relatively short period of time with David and had no prior experience. I am a mature student which probably means that I learn slightly slower than the kids. I am also keen on development and am trained in this as part of my profession. I like the learning journey so far and am further along than I expected to be. This is because we are learning the required skillsets in a logical and purposeful order. I could probably play more songs now if I just learned chords and went off building that knowledge base but the skillsets I have now mean that I can use lots more techniques and to a better standard. All of my learning has been done remotely too. This has worked well for me.”

She has helped me to understand me, understand how my mental health has affected my actions, helped me see what has caused it and given me help with how to tackle them. She is empathic, understanding and quite frankly I can honestly say I think I owe her my life and health. Without Kinga I would be in a very different place. She is a life saver and anyone who has her as a therapist has the best start on the road to recovery.”

“I will always be grateful to the very talented Psychologist at The Children's Rooms. The progress that was made in 1 month of weekly sessions with a Psychologist was unbelievable compared to the regression that had occurred being under the care of CAMHS for 9 years! Camhs had said my autistic child wasn't suitable for therapy, that it wouldn't be useful and that he couldn't engage. I'm so very glad we were able to turn things around for him with the genuine and individualised support he received at The Room's as soon as they took him under their wing. I feel very blessed that someone is finally helping my son with the overwhelming challenges he faced and at the same time feel deeply sorry for all those other young people who are being left without the support and therapy they need in the NHS Children's Mental Health service in this country. I cannot recommend The Room's more highly. It is a sorry shame that it took me 9 years to find them.”
