Children's centre in Stockport

“Treatment: Invisalign, top and bottom and whitening I work abroad a lot and wanted to get my teeth straightened for a long time, but could never commit to dentist visits. My wife was already a patient and had her teeth straightened at HMOC, and had nothing but praise they did a fantastic job with her treatment, so after seeing Invisalign, I decided to try and see if this was possible for me and if would it be possible with rotational work. The first visit, was amazing, the entire HMOC team made me feel welcome, Dr Bhatti, is such a professional and explained everything to me, I explained my working situation and he assured me it was possible and the entire process, there was no pressure to take the treatment or sales pitch, all the options were explained in detail and I could (without any pressure) decided if I wanted to proceed, wait or leave, from when my wife had her treatment and the appointment, I wanted to proceed. From the very beginning, HMOC gave me all the support I needed, I had a flight to catch for work, leaving for 4 weeks, Dr Bhatti made sure I get an appointment (within a day’s notice) to start the treatment before I flew, to have all the scans, photos, and explained that I needed a tooth removing as this would be a better alternative than trying to align the bottom teeth, as I would have had an odd number between the bottom and top. I left for Kazakhstan, and then the worst thing happened …… COVID started, I was evacuated back to the UK, my normal dentist was only doing emergency appointments, and I still had to get a tooth removed to proceed with my alignment treatments. I had a letter from Dr Bhatti from my normal dentist explaining that I needed the tooth removed and with this letter I managed to get an emergency appointment and have the tooth removed, my treatment could now proceed. My next problem, was from working 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off, due to COVID this would be 8 weeks on, 8 weeks off, so Dr Bhatti explained that I could use the Invisalign remove scanning device and app, which would monitor my treatment and keeping everything all on track and when to change the brace (as it is not like on the adverts for “other” braces, it needs professional monitoring, and not just ‘change weekly’) – I was away and was given support, advise and on all my treatment So I was going to Kazakhstan for 8 weeks, I had several packets of braces and the monitoring tool, but due to COVID, I was stuck in Kazakhstan for 8 months, I was running out of braces, and I thought I would have a problem and have to wear the last set of braced for 2 months before I would get back to the UK, but again HMOC supported me, they posted more braces (as no cost to myself) to a colleague who was flying to Kazakhstan, to bring more braces, HMOC even personally delivered braces to my home when I returned from Kazakhstan. Nothing was too much trouble, HMOC was always there when I needed support, had a question and would always find a solution when I needed them. HMOC always went above and beyond, I was fully supported, was able to get appointments a very short notice, and the treatment was fantastic, I am overwhelmed with my teeth, I went from somebody who never showed my teeth, to a different person now I was that happy with HMOC, my son has now started treatment at HMOC! I wish I could give more than 5 stars...”

Our dentist Bart always greets us with a smile and makes jokes with my little boy to put him at ease. Clare my hygienist is fab and gives me tips and direction on how best to care for my teeth.”

“Did our tour Saturday morning, Gary the tour guide was brilliant and really entertaining, right balance of humour and information, the brewery has the historical and brand new brewing equipment which makes it stand out as a great tour, we finished off in the Arden Arms to sample some of the drinks we heard about. Sad to hear the Unicorn Brewery is moving to new premises and from April next year these tours will not continue.”

“Great place. We came here for our store's midyear meeting and to do some activities together for team building and morale. It was fun watching each other on the high ropes course while some of us attempted to pitch our tents. We'll probably be back again in the future!”

“My wife and I celebrated the birth of our daughter here in 2013. It was just as we planned it, the people were friendly and the whole process was easy. The venue was clean and had good facilities. Now my daughter is 2 years old in a few weeks we are reserving a room for second time and we are hopping to have as much fun”

“Had my son Cameron’s 8th birthday party today at Stockport Nerf Centre and EVERYONE absolutely loved it The guys running the place are very professional but know how to have fun Myself and another Dad were lucky enough to get involved albeit a tad reluctant at first but then my inner kid took over and I was in the zone. Thank you to all the guys running the place that made my sons birthday very special. This is a must for boys or girls of all ages as it’s just so much fun. Cheers John McQuillan”

My baby loves the sessions so much all the lights, songs and activities. Natalie & Michelle are just amazing and so lovely in class. I really think the sessions have helped with my babies social skills too! This is an amazing class and space.”

“We've done Hannah's Bloom classes both at Gatley and Cheadle Heath. The classes are entertaining and support little ones' development but Hannah really is the star of the show. My daughter is captivated by her, and she knows all the babies by name. She creates a welcoming and safe atmosphere and after a tricky start with numerous health problems, she helped make my first venture out of the house with my baby a really positive one. I go back to work soon and I'm gutted that I will miss our weekly classes.”

When I compare their service to the one my Mum has in a different district, she is always amazed by how good I say they are. “I had my son's 5th birthday party here and he loved it. It's a great experience for children to meet different animals. My son particularly enjoyed walking the Alpaca. It's a party that is different from the regular soft play centres and you also support a local not for profit organisation.”

“Today I had an appointment with a senior nurse, at the Health Centre, to investigate some serious problems that I have been experiencing following the removal of my gall bladder, last year. She was patient, through and listened attentively to the description of my symptoms. Some further tests need to be carried out and sent of for examination. I am grateful for the time spent by an understanding, patient and experienced nurse.”

“Both my girls Willow (age 3) and Piper (1) go to Little Giggles Great Moor and I wouldnt have them go anywhere else. Willow joined in the recommendation from my sister and I'm so happy. The staff are wonderful, willow joined from a year old and has learnt and developed so much. Piper has just recently joined and I was nervous about having to drop her off (during this pandemic) and not being able to see her react to being left alone. But with the help of the staff at Great Moor, I was instantly settled knowing that she was good and happy, Piper loves coming to nursery and her skills have progressed so much since going. I would recommend the friendly loving staff and nursery all day. I look forward to Willow & Piper returning in september. Thank you x”
