“I have been using the Mahbub since they opened 25 years ago. The food has been consistently authentic and delicious… I have never had a bad experience in all of this time which is definitely some testament. Always great customer service from Amir and his team, they have a really comprehensive menu but nothing is too much trouble if you ask for something different and not only do they cater for this but they care enough to remember for next time.”

“A busy weekend visit for a pre-booked dinner for two having been recommended by a work colleague. Very friendly attentive staff, fabulous food and good atmosphere. The menu is excellent with something for all tastes and appetites and great authentic flavours. Two draught Cobra beers of which one was Malabar IPA (fantastic). One of the best Indian dinners we’ve had for some time. We will definitely return very soon.”

“We had our celebratory wedding meal here last summer and could not thank Manish and the team enough for there fantastic hospitality and flexibility. They were kind enough to open the restaurant just for us and our guests for the afternoon. We had thalis and Manish was happy to tailor the menu to meet all our guests dietary requirements. Everyone loved the food which was cooked fresh, was authentic and was full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, they even let us do speeches and perform a song and joined in with the celebrations. “Grandads sausages are a firm favourite in my house. We get the sausages, bacon and hot dogs which are all amazing…..and even get sausage meat for stuffing at Christmas and it wouldn’t be a Christmas dinner without it! Once tasted there’s no going back!”

Service was great always coming to top up drinks. Atmosphere was nice but a little too dark in booth and music so loud that's it was hard to talk to people on opposite end of table but other than that it was an incredible experience and the staff are very helpful”
