A'bout Thyme Coffee Lounge serving the best coffee and tea in Glossop
“I randomly came across About Thyme whilst on a bike ride. I had the full english sat in a lovely courtyard and it was delicious. I was served by Becca & Rachel who were so nice and friendly. I will definitely be calling again.”
Porta134 cafe
“Went on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Really friendly people running the place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Had coffee, a pastry, and cake, all were lovely. Good portion size for the price.”
Martha, Betty & Co
“The girls are lovely ! This was our first time using them and we would definitely recommend them. 5 star treatment was given to Poppy and Daisy , much appreciated !”
Egginton's
“Found this little gem yesterday when visiting the area and stopped for lunch. Wow, unexpected delight. The ambiance was friendly and welcoming and the server was really polite and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend.”
Door 34 Coffeehouse & Kitchen
“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”
Marmalade Coffee Shop
“What a lovely coffee shop that serves light snacks too. I had the Greek Melt that was very tasty and my wife had the tuna salad sandwich. We sat in the front garden that's full of beautiful flowers. Staff were so friendly that is norm in this part of the country.”
Clay Coffee House
“Really nice setting. Good coffee. Food really nice and tasty. Cakes looked great. Definately will return.”
The Horsebox
“Coffee is great deep and flavoursome, well made by the owner, who is very friendly, wide selection of drinks and snacks and also doggy drinks and a children's selection, well worth a visit.”
Flora Cafe
“Randomly found ourselves just outside Stockport this morning, wanting a breakfast. Google'd for a cafe and it suggested Flora. What a lovely find, the prices matched the food, excellent. First time I've been served egg & beans on toast as a toasted sandwich but I'll be making it that way for myself in the future. Coffee was fresh and smooth.”
Propeller Coffee
“Great little coffee shop. Nice selection of, home made, sandwiches and cake, to go with the excellent coffee. Definitely be returning there.”
Serendipitea and Coffee
“Serendipitea is our local! Birthdays, anniversaries or just any excuse for a Gathering Of The Clans - we're here! This isn't just a café, it's a proper community hub. The food is fantastic quality, the staff are lovely and they take pride in serving their community and giving back. They DO cater for veggies/vegans/allergy sufferers - but their sausages are EPIC! If your dog is well-behaved, they're welcome too.”
Orchard Cafe
“I totally disagree with the comment below. It's a lovely cafe with great food and very accommodating, friendly staff.”
Jenny Wren’s Pottery Cafe
“Fabulous venue. Friendly helpful staff. Great choice of items to paint. Excellent value for money, will definitely be back.”
Jenny's Place Cafe & Eatery
“I go to Jenny's for breafast regularly with my family because of the nuce food, Warm atmosphere & reasonable prices. It's highly recommended.”
The Ducie Arms
“Awesome pub! One of few traditional pubs left near the city centre. It has a good range of well kept ales, good atmosphere and the owner is a really nice guy. Definitely coming back!”
Roti Food & Liquor
“Great place! It's small so I'd recommend booking. Even on a cold wet tuesday night it was busy. Food is excellent. Didnt know Indian Scottish tapas existed before eating here. Nice and relaxed but attentive service. Theyve got that spot on. Alastair was really helpful with choices. Will definitely be back.”
The Corner Cafe
“Excellent food and service. Only found this cafe today on my rounds as a carer. Sunday is a nightmare for food. Delighted. Yummy mini breakfast and latte. Great price, good food, lovely menu. Just been back, regular now. Yum YUM YUM”
Crumbs 102
“This place is a hidden gem. Amazing breakfast not a greasy spoon. Fabulous standard food. Friendly atmosphere ideal for families. Highly recommended.”
Ditto Coffee
“Been here a couple of times before and has been great. This last time we were disappointed with the soup. It was far too peppery. In fact had we not known it was leek and potato we would never have guessed. Hopefully this was a one off as we do love this place”
Farnworth & Kearsley Labour Club
“Been going to this place since I can remember and having worked before I can say it is an amazing place to have your functions here nice big room upstairs and good prices and downstairs having 2 snooker tables and a pool table a dart board and a massive 12ft screen its just immense!”
The Little B
“Very good! Went with my mum and my partner for lunch/dinner. The fish and chips is one of the best I've had. The service was great too, very friendly. 100% recommended it!!”
The Crown & Cushion
“Friendly welcome on entry, always a nice touch. Decent pint of San Miguel, nice atmosphere and busy with locals on a Friday afternoon. Good music and plenty of sport on.”
The Lavender Pot Cafe
“Awesome staff, awesome food. Nice clean kitchen. Can't go wrong”
The Boundary Coffee Shop
“I went for a little walk along the river Mersey in Sale with my daughter and we came across this fantastic little cafe in the grounds of Ashton on Mersey cricket club called the Boundary, right next door to the river, the owner, who I believe is called James was absolutely brilliant, he explained that he had only been open for a couple of days, and that most everything from the Pod in which it was housed to the shelving a decking and the table and chairs were all recycled it was impressive to say the least, the hot drinks and cakes that he served were lovely and of a decent size (I personally recommend the hot chocolate) and well priced, as autumn is fast approaching I for one will be a regular, sat outside on crisp autumn day drinking a hot beverage is my idea of bliss even if I don’t walk there, there is ample parking to one side of pod, and for the dog walkers he provides treats and water for your pooches as well.”
