"Friendly welcome on entry, always a nice touch. Decent pint of San Miguel, nice atmosphere and busy with locals on a Friday afternoon. Good music and plenty of sport on."

"Land lady and staff are really pushy and treat some customers unfairly, we were in there on Wednesday 29th December. We were playing pool after watching city. No one was inebriated etc. We frequented here prior to lockdown on a Friday evening and it was always cliquey but I think things have definately took a turn following lockdowns. We went to the bar at 11.55 pm to order a round of 5 drinks to be told that they had stopped serving and then laughed at for "not knowing”. No last orders call nothing. Despite them turning us down for more drinks which I agree is their choice to make and we didn't make a fuss etc they served others very openly. What we object to is not being advised to be given an opportunity to purchase final drinks and them being blatantly and overtly nepotistic and also mocking us. I live locally and we often tour the pole, won't be paying them another visit any time soon. Plenty of good pubs round there that deserve our business."
