“What can I say? Incredible doesn't quite cover it. My niece and I went yesterday as a treat for her 30th birthday. We were greeted with a smile, the door opened for us, and promptly taken up to homage on the mezzanine level above the glorious and very impressive restaurant. We were seated in the most exquisite room, and both felt very special indeed. Our jackets were taken and hung, the menu's described to us. We each ordered a cocktail to start, and these were delicious . Amy had the special cocktail of the day which was aptly called lovely lady ( very fitting for my niece) and I really wanted something with an almond flavour, so one was created for me, very impressive. We then ordered our cheeses, 3 to start, and we paired these with wine. We followed this with even more of the extensive cheese selection. Again paired with wine. Each cheese has a chutney alongside it to pair with the flavour of the cheese. Some little bread roll, and some biscuits that basically melted in your mouth. I even had a dessert which was incredible, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of this, but it was a little like a creme brulle, with tonka bean flavour ( similar to vanilla) it had the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The room we were in was absolute luxury. There was relaxing background music, candlelight everywhere, very comfortable chairs, an extremely intimate feeling to it. We literally had the room to ourselves which made it feel even more special. The bathroom is situated on the same floor which is great. Last but by no means least , Michael was our incredible host, very knowledgeable about every wine and cheese, extremely professional, attentive and I would say an absolute asset to Wood. Thank you Michael for making our visit so memorable and special. I would highly recommend homage at Wood. You will not be disappointed.”

Lovely atmosphere with some dogs always around! Despite lacking on natural light, it’s a warm, welcoming and pleasant place to be!”

Set in a simple setting, aka sushi dishes really do speak volume. With a small open kitchen and what seems like a huge menu everything is prepared there and then. We ordered: Sushi Set A (16 pieces) consisted of: 3 Salmon Sashimi, 3 Tuna Sashimi, 3 Salmon Nigiri, 3 Tuna Nigiri, 4 Salmon Roll & Seaweed Salad. Salmon Bento Box: Salmon Fillet, rice, chips, salmon sashimi, seaweed salad & baby leaf salad. The box usually comes with chicken too but it's not halal so we were allowed to swap it. The O.T burger has been recommended and let me tell you those chicken burgers are delicious. The menu looks outstanding. Formidable chicken. Absolutely legendary stuff. Also greeted by very nice staff who are happy to help This is literally a game changer. Fresh, local and tasty. Meals are reasonably priced, box meal with chips and drink for less than £10. Drove past here and was eating my burger within the hour. We are very lucky to now have a decent burger/takeaway place in Failsworth, this area needed good fast food joint and here it is.”

“Scott has been walking my dog, Rupert, for nearly 1.5 years. He started doing puppy visits initially until he was vaccinated which he then joined the group walks. Throughout it all Scott has been amazing with him and Rupert gets so excited every time he gets picked up! “Love this place!! Hard to say which one is my favourite coz they all tasted so good. The Deshi breakfast is one of the top favourites as it so traditional - spices and portion is bang on! The Naga Fries are a MUST - couldn’t stop eating them even though I was full. The desserts are unbelievable - never heard of a place that does a Gulab Jamun Éclair - AMAZING!! Definitely a place to visit.”
