It is slightly on the expensive side, but it serves really decent food and had a nice warm fire to warm you up after a walk in the countryside. We had a couple of plates instead of main meals and this was a perfect amount of food. There’s a small short-stay car park just around the corner, and it’s not far from the train station.”

Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend!”

“My friend and I visited for some late lunch today and had a really positive experience. For a place that had only been open for two days, it was clear to see there were a couple of little teething problems, however this is to be expected and the staff were so attentive, polite and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s so refreshing to see and the food was absolutely lovely! We will definitely be returning.”

Mixed grill cooked perfectly for him, pie week special of the best cheese and onion pie for me. Both meals piping hot, freshly cooked, and the chips were perfect. “I eat here regularly and im always happy with the food and if the portion size isn't as much as I like they always put extra in without charge they just want you to be happy and I alway am. Tonight I ordered, rang through and wasn't happy as I was tryin to make sure I got the extra I Normally do after going to the shop and speaking to the guy on the phone I realised I was in the wrong and once the food was delivered it had as u can expect more than I ordered, so the point of the review is to make people aware the foods outstanding and the service is second to none also the staff provide a great service so thank you to everyone at mians il be back and see you guys soon”
