“Three of us called in this cafe for our lunch . We sat at a table upstairs and were served quite quickly . The chargrilled chicken was really nice and you got plenty of it with rice and side salad Also I had a cheese, ham and onion panini which came with chips . We ordered Halloumi fries between us ( they were little oblong pieces of Halloumi rather than fries shape ) which was a nice change and were lovely . I would say the only thing to improve the service is to not clear the table before everyone has finished eating and also ask if finished before just taking the plates . I would go again and recommend this place .”

“Excellent staff, beer and prices. Visited this at the weekend when Manchester was baking and City was playing their first home game of the season. So was a little worried about what the service would be like. I needn't have worried. Fast friendly service all day. We stopped just for one, but when we got seats and a table in the sun and had our first pint of Jimmy's Cider, one quickly turn into half a dozen! Even though the place was hammered before kick-off time the service was wonderful. I had just had a very bad experience at the Crown and Kettle and boy oh boy they could do with visiting here and seeing what customer service is all about. Will be back again. Thanks all for making our day!”

“Lots of seating, both inside and out. Really friendly efficient service. Nice range of food to order and really decent prices. Highly recommend! My picture is of the Texan steak melt. Seasoned rump steak with BBQ sauce, melted mozzarella and caramelised onions on a focaccia bread. Served with chips and a salad which was lightly dressed. Super yummy.”

“Alhamdulliah, I loved the food at this great establishment. The service was quick and speedy and the food was amazing to say the least. I ordered the t bone steak and also the chicken steak. These steaks were seasoned perfectly and had a generous amount of succulent fat in them. The sides which came along with the steak was mouth watering. Not just your low- quality cheap ingredients but something else which was more high quality. The lamb chops were grilled and they were super crispy to perfection. The mocktails were super tasty as well. Will look forward to eating at this restaurants in the future.”

Their Lobster meal was massive and tasted good, along with the african meal (Amala and Okra soup) I ordered. I would 100% recommend this place and they also do deliveries if you think of it.”

“Lovely place. They have a good quantity of nice options to choose. The presentation of the food is good with prices running around 8-13£, they have also a day menu. Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.”

“Really decent spot ideal for a gig at the Albert Hall next door. Huge range of ale on offer, the burgers were awesome and cannot compliment the staff enough who made us feel welcome and offered great table service despite being busy the whole time we were there. I put a specific request on the table booking and got exactly what we asked for. It was very much appreciated. Easy to imagine a place like this being a bit too cool, staff being a bit detached, but not at all. Also decent indie play list on the whole time we were there. Top top place!”

“I ordered a mixed platter of baked goodies for my salon opening and they could not have been more perfect! The staff went to the trouble of having my logo printed onto my cakes and biscuits which looked fantastic and they all tasted amazing particularly the cupcakes and biscuits. “Good place to grab a coffee, latte, cappuccino or thier unique turkish coffee blend served in a copper pot they will never give you a reason to complain. The place is always busy (which is a good sign) and is always clean. It has a good seating area with tables outside also. The hot drinks are always amazing. Overall a good place to sit and relax for a while. Customer service is good too.”
