“Words can never describe the great work Pepper Mill does. They have been sorting us out for probably over a decade now and after recently visiting home again they reminded me exactly how good they are. “A hidden gem with top quality kebabs that are unbelievably cheap to buy for the quality they are. The shop is in a predominantly high density asian area so they specialise in providing good quality asian food rather than the '10 pinter kebab'. Well done guys and keep up the good work!”

“We had Sri Lankan curry, Kashmiri korma and seekh kebab. (home delivery) Sri lankan curry was excellent, tasty and spicy. The korma was good. The kebab was ok (I believe that with the delivery it loses heat and taste). They also provide a side included (not everyone does that) . Overall it is a fine indian restaurant. It deserves 5 stars. The prices are ok as well. Not the cheapest though.”

“Nice food and friendly staff. We always get food coupon for the next visit as we ordered so much food. I love the spicy beef and roast duck with pancake. Lamb stew is a little bit watery with the sauce. The golden yolk fried prawn and tofu are very tasty too.”

“We love it here, we've tried other Chinese takeaways but we always come back. Good food, large portions, excellent value and always piping hot. Even delivery.”

“A hidden gem rapidly becoming a shining star in Tylesdale. A cosy takeaway, small in size but big in taste! A friend had highly recommended the place so we took the 30 minute journey to try it out. Although they've only opened recently, the orders for home delivery and customers who come in person keep the staff on their toes! The place is clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and polite. All menu items are displayed with pictures and descriptions - in case you are trying Greek food for the first time. The food is freshly prepared and even the baklava is homemade. We had mixed mezza, Greek mixed grill, Greek salad and cheesy garlic bread. It came with plenty of hand cut chips and pitta bread. We also had baklava which was very moorish! I would definitely visit again, I need to try everything on the menu!”

“New management since April.2019. Now a great pub with genuine people and friendly staff. LIVE MUSIC (BANDS) most SATURDAYS from about 9PM .. usually good stuff. Sometimes free pool/billiard on Sunday afternoons.”

“Visited today with my young son and couldn't be happier with the food and the service. I had the gammon which was very juicy, very well cooked and was nice and hot and my son had the lasagna with chips, salad and garlic bread which was very well presented and again, nice and hot. The portions were large and top quality food. Highly recommended. We didn't even have to wait too long. We also wanted to thank Georgia and Aneeka for looking after us, they came to our table on more than one occasion to make sure we were happy and if we wanted anything else. Assets to the team!!
