“Big store with lots of arts, crafts pretty much anything needed for birthdays, weddings we call in on a few occasions for things needed. We have been in a lot lately due to sorting my daughters 18th, staff are very friendly one lady that works there is always smiling and chatting (older lady) we found an easel online comparing prices which was the same price as instore I'd rather pick up than have things delayed in delivery from Amazon.”

“A brilliant store. Super vintage clothing, a wonderful collection of vintage furniture. Stylish prints of Stockport with bespoke options, cool lampshades and lamps, lovingly restored teak. So much great stuff in such a tardis of a shop. Just wonderful.”

“Called in on a whim as had the afternoon spare but a mountain of work to catch up on. Nice big space with plenty of seating. Greeted with a happy smile and hello by a member of staff behind the counter. Was shown to the wide selection of sandwiches, panini, et al, and cold drinks. Chose the jerk chicken & cheddar which was phenomenal. Ordered a double espresso, the sandwich, and a juice which all came to much less than I was expecting. Was told by the member of staff to take a seat and they would bring it over, which was a nice touch. The double espresso was perfect. Perfect! After being let down over and over again by weak, tasteless, watery espressos by other coffee places in the area, this one blew me away. By far the best coffee in Stockport. Managed to sit in a relaxed environment and get all my work done with a chilled soundtrack in the background. Everything from soul to liquid drum & bass. Other services offered on site are tattoos, piercings, and a merch stall. Observed one member of staff dealing with customers coming in for piercings, and they were extremely friendly, professional, very reassuring to someone feeling a little nervous. Would give more than 5* if I could. Will definitely be back. And after looking at the artists work on social media, I’ll definitely be booking myself in for my next tattoo. Looking forward to next time.”

“I recently collected my ring from Lester & Brown and I am delighted with it. I had an eternity ring that sat unworn in my jewellery box and my friend persuaded me to take it to Lester & Brown. I am so glad I did!! David spent time talking through options and then sent me photographs of CAD designs so I could look at the stones in different settings. The service that David and Ian provided was fabulous from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend them!”

“I visited Jori to make an initial enquiry and was advised to email with details. I had a pretty vague idea which she developed and came up with a stunning full colour artwork within a couple of days. A week later I was booked in and the job done. Her time guesstimate was spot on. Very relaxed, very professional and to my amazement the end result was even more detailed than the original artwork. She exceeded all expectations, I cant recommend her highly enough.”

“Nico is an absolute gem! Not only are they an amazing piercer, their knowledge and expertise about jewellery, placement and all things shiny are amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome from the first time I met them. I’ve had my Medusa done by them and multiple earring changes and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I also recommended my mum to them and now she won’t go anywhere else either. Furthermore, an absolute massive bonus is that they are a disabled friendly studio and I was easily able to wheel my mum into the piercing room without a problem (which compared to other well known piercing places is a massive bonus as they are no longer disabled friendly). I cannot express enough how amazing Nico is, so you’ll definitely have to find out for yourself! You won’t regret it :) 100/10!”

“GED is 10000000% the best tattooist i have ever been too. I've been going almost on a weekly basis for almost 6 months. The work he's done is amazing. And the work he's done on most of my previous tattoos to fix and improve them are remarkable. And some i thought he wouldn't be able to do anything with, they was that bad. But they've all come out so good. Luckily he's only a 5 minute drive from me. But he's so worth the travel to get to. He's great to chat and have a laugh and banter with. Makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you're 100% happy before and after tattooing you. And you will not be disappointed with his work.”

“My comment is for the piercing side of the store, I have no experience with the tattoo section so can't judge. The shop is friendly and efficient. The guys are happy to offer advice and answer questions. Did my wife's nose piercing at a very reasonable price and she is happy with it. No waiting around or issues whatsoever. Just make sure to bring cash with you, as they don't take card payments at the time of this review (free ATM is only a 5 minute walk away). Great service, I highly recommend the White Dragon for your next piercing!”

“Wow! What a magical experience! We always have a great time at Reddish Vale Farm but the Santa Experience was something else. The amount of creativity and magical touches that have gone into creating magic and memories blew me away. The outfits are amazing , the decorations are spot on, the Christmas trees are huge and it all really makes you feel like you are at the North Pole. My son is 5 but I can see us going for a few years to come as it was so cleverly done and watching his face take in all the magic was so wonderful. There are even silly things for the Adults to spot like the Elf and Safety poster and there are photographs in Santa’s grotto of the actual actors. All the elves and Santa were brilliant but my personal favourite was Mrs Claus you are a star. The experience is so organised there are no long waits and it all feels covid safe you need to wear a mask but the spaces are large and well ventilated and some of it is outside too. We couldn’t believe how much you got to do and keep there was an large plush Elf toy that you stuffed yourself and an elf certificate then a letter to Santa and then a gingerbread decorating session which you could eat or take home and hot chocolate for the parents. They got sweets from the elf shop and then the usual toy from Santa was age specific and not one of those that falls apart on the way home! To anyone wondering if it’s worth the money it absolutely is, go for it!”
