“I came with my Mrs and 2 friends from York as we were having a night away. Booked in here for Lunch and can honestly say as an Ex Chef myself, The Mixed Grill was out of this world, The best I've had by a mile. My Steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were very professional so we will be back... SPOT ON!!!!!”

Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food came in a very reasonable time, great value and cooked to a very good standard. The children's menu offered choice and well-sized portions. “Just come into have a look at the recent renovation its been more years than I care to mention since I've been here. It's really well done and I must say a nice place to visit we looked at the menu which has a good selection and although we did not eat on this occasion we will definitely be back. Have to say they pour a good pint of Guinness.”

“Lovely old fashioned pub in Altrincham where you can have a pint and chat with people without the distraction of phones. The organic beer is a must try and the stout is also very nice. The staff is very helpful and polite. They don't take card payments so remember to bring some cash”

“I’ve just had their beyond meat burger and it’s by far the best burger I’ve ever had! Not just vegan/vegetarian but any burger. It was so flavoursome and well presented. The chips were great too! Delivery was quick and I loved that the packaging didn’t include any plastic.”

“Nice wetherspoons pub in the middle of Altrincham. We had food and drinks but they messed up the order so only 3 of the 4 meals arrived together. They didn't charge us for the 4th and put it top of the list. It's cheap, simple and tasty fair. It's nicely decorated and was popular when we visited on bank holiday Monday afternoon.”
