“I have just completed a course of IPL for the treatment of rosacea and broken vessels on my face. From start to finish the experience has been exemplary. Irina is careful and considered in her approach, honest and direct about possible outcomes, results and aftercare, and upfront about costs and number of sessions. Each appointment has been swift and punctual, Irina is kind and I always felt safe in her hands. The fact that she is a trained and very experienced nurse prescriber is probably what made me choose her above others, and why I had so much confidence in her. It shows and makes a huge difference. She knows her stuff! My face is less red, less hot and irritated, and as rosacea cannot be cured this is expected to return slowly and need regular maintenance sessions. Don’t expect it to be once-and-done. However, I’m most pleased at how the vessels are much less visible, about an 80-85% improvement I think. I don’t like wearing make up, so this has been a fantastic result for me. I look less ‘ruddy’ and more fresh faced. “Can’t fault NassifMD Medical Spa at all! I was slightly nervous before my appointment, as a gent I’ve never really had any treatments before and didn’t know what to expect. A received a warm and friendly welcome, the staff made me feel at home straight away. Before I knew it I was sipping a fresh coffee and filling in my patient form having a laugh with Amanda, Lauren and Harriet. Form filled in and my PRP treatment awaited! Dr Harrison explained the PRP procedure fully and answered all my questions, and even advised me in aftercare to help my hair grow healthier. “We have just finished an amazing week’s honeymoon staying in Overlea Farm Cowshed. The cottage was incredible all round. I was particularly impressed with the decor and furnishing. Fantastic quality and great design. We loved the hot tub both on a morning looking out over the fields or on an evening looking at the stars. The fire was fantastic to keep toasty in the evening, though you get full control of the central heating anyway. The owners made us feel very welcome with a wonderful little welcome hamper. When we arrived there was gentle music playing on the Sonos system and a lovely scent from the diffusers. The location is fantastic for anyone with a car as it is super easy to access walks, restaurants and all the top sights in the Peaks within about 30 mins drive. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and would love to visit again.”

“We stayed in the shepherds hut was a comfortable couple of nights. Had a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo , washing up liquid which surprised us . A pint of milk in fridge was a lovely welcome . Lots of books to read, we took a radio too . Very impressed with the hut and we will be back”

“First of all, a big thanks to Nanette for such a brilliant day! My partner booked the birds of prey experience for both of us as a Valentines Day gift and it was full of knowledge and fun! It was easy to see how much passion Nanette has for wildlife which we admired and we even put to bed any bad opinions on vultures as Nanette wanted to showcase how these birds are actually quite funny and interesting regarding how they have their place in disease prevention in third world countries. There are so many birds here and all are beautiful and have their own character. Thanks again for such a great knowledgeable day and we’ll definitely be back soon for the Meerkat experience!
