“I had always wanted to improve the look of my teeth. A few years before I’d already done Invisalign braces, which worked initially but I didn’t realise that I’d have to wear the retainers for the rest of my days. Unfortunately I didn’t wear them, so they went wonky again. My decision to go down the route of veneers was not one I took lightly. After a lot of research I knew I was making the right decision with Dr Joe Oliver. He is an absolute subject matter expert in the area of cosmetic dentistry with over 25+ years experience. This instantly reassured me, knowing that this all he focuses on day in day out ! My initial call with the wonderful Kerstie both put me at ease but most importantly gave me the confidence to proceed with the £85 consultation. I was excited when I left the initial visit with Dr Oliver with a picture of how it could look. We discussed all options, but I knew that veneers were the way forward for me. I was even more pleased that it wasn’t as many initial teeth as I thought ! The procedure wasn’t as painful as I expected. I’ll be honest, it took some time, a lot of noise but no real pain !!! The outcome was a set of temporaries that gave a great impression of what was to come. I wish I had known then how much better the final veneers were going to be ! They are one set vs separate veneers that you get at the final stage. The great thing is this gives you time to work out what you like, or what you’d like to tweak, and then you discuss what colour you want your final veneers to be. Dr Oliver was really accessible by phone / email to discuss any amends. The final veneers were such a move forward from the temporaries and looked fantastic. It’s not like braces where you have time to adjust so be prepared for the big reveal in one go. Amazing !! I have been really impressed with the post care. Dr Oliver ensured that any adjustments that were required were dealt with as soon as possible, and I’ve always managed to see him in Manchester or London. I could not be more delighted with my new smile, especially when people don’t notice because it’s so natural, or when they do and I eagerly show them the before and after pictures! Steven and his team were fantastic with me as always, they made me feel comfortable, calm and were extremely understanding. Even from the initial call to make the appointment, the lovely lady on reception was so welcoming and accommodating and made me feel they had missed me. I can not recommend Steven and his team enough, they have always been so good with me and where other dentists have failed to be able to get me to have treatment, they succeed in relaxing me by being very personable, and caring. You always receive a first class service and are always made to feel there is no rush, you are their priority. Greeted by big smiles and interest in you and what you have been up to, with laughs and banter really makes you feel at ease and like your part of a family. “Have been going to this dentist for afew years now and it’s always been good, we went for our check ups today to find our old dentist has left and there was a new dentist and dental nurse. The dentist Dr Tanvi is such a lovely young lady (as was the dental nurse) so friendly and explained everything as she was going along even had afew laughs. I have to say I don’t think I have ever felt so relaxed at any dentist I have been to. Also to the young lady receptionist Amy who was also very friendly and helpful. I don’t think anyone really likes going to the dentist but I would like to thank you all for making the experience almost a pleasure lol x”
