“We contacted Shane desperately needing a project to start at three weeks notice, to fit two new bathrooms in my mum's house while she was away for a few weeks in care home respite. Shane moved mountains to fit us into his programme. He rapidly produced very serviceable designs for us, largely based around what parts were practically available on short order. his team were a pleasure to deal with and did an excellent job.”

“Great stay at the Cornerstones guest house. Spotlessly clean room - nice decor and loads of space. Had all the comforts I needed including a hairdryer. Lovely big bathroom, excellent shower and loads of space to put all my bits and pieces out. Free parking included. Lovely welcome and top notch host. Excellent vale for money.”

“I needed just one small screw for a suitcase retractable handle and although screw fix sell in larger quantities, the manager very kindly found me a couple of suitable screws which he refused any payment for! Thankyou for a very kind gesture”

“I would whole heartedly recommend once again MA Kitchens and Bedrooms to any of my friends/family. I had my bedroom fitted over 5yrs ago with them and it still looks like new. Last week I had reason to re contacted them as I needed to speak to the electrician they worked with, we had a problem after recently redecorating (not their fault), but thexreceptionist was lovely happy to assist. The original electrician has since moved on so they asked their present electrician to get in touch. OMG he came round sorted the fault within 10 minutes and was amazing. Thank you MA Kitchens & Bedrooms and Ryan their new electrician we can't thank you enough.”

“Cheap modern and clean set up which was perfect for an overnight stay after going to a gig @ band on the wall ...literally about 100 yards down the road. Nice breakfast by the looks, but didn't partake. Would definitely use again for.the same reason... smack in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester”

“I came from London to watch a football game, the Hotel is right next to the Tram station, St Peters Square which was amazing and made everything easy, also is was like an 8min walk to the Shopping Centre and all other shops which made it easy. The Hotel staff were nice, the lounge was chilled and comfortable, the room was modern, clean, a bit on the small side but doesn't really matter since I'm not living there, the bed was so so comfortable and a clean and powerful shower. I've been to Manchester a few times now and this was the first time I stayed in this hotel and I will definitely be making it the hotel I stay at from now on.”

“Such a beautiful, historic (and modern) hotel! The hotel is Located within the Corn Exchange, giving immediate access to so many cool restaurants. I was upgraded to the incredible Guinea Suite! My suite was sooo quiet, no sound intrusion from other guests or street noise. I was only there for one night but I would definitely stay here again. When in Manchester, book here!!!”

“Really loved staying here. The room itself was very nice, stylish, functional and comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic, the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare your own meals (not that I cooked), and the wifi was very reliable. I was booked here by work to stay here for 3 nights and I was able to easily book an extra night myself and the hotel staff were able to easily arrange for me to stay in the same room and not have to check out and in again. I will likely stay here next time I'm in Manchester. The only negative thing I would say is that the lifts are slow or there are not enough of them, because I always had to wait and there always seemed to be people waiting to use them.”

“Been using mkm in sharston for a while now the lads in the yard on behind the tills are a great helpful bunch always doing there best that your happy not like the other builder's merchants not so far away. They will always try beat prices and I'd say 90% of the Time they do always gonna have the odd item tgat might find a quid or 2 cheaper. Had tgere kitchen designer Stuart hankinson designing my kitchen great service nothing was too much trouble and went into detail of spec kitchen to suit everyone needs. Great service great guy keep up the great work”

“Deborah is simply wonderful! We are super lucky to have her. And repeatedly thank her for the small touches she does as well as her general skills and professionalism. We had thought about going direct with a local cleaner but the admin fee we pay to HomeClean takes the worry out of vetting, insurance and we were guaranteed to have a cleaner that we felt comfortable and happy with being in our home whether we are there or not. It means that we are also safe in the knowledge if at any point our current cleaner chooses to change hours or just go on holiday for a few weeks, they will be able to source an equally professional and wonderful cleaner quickly - taking the pressure of us needing to look for a stop gap. It is such a joy coming home after a very long day into a home that Deborah has cleaned!”

“Hotel was good for the price over Christmas period. Bed was comfy and went straight to sleep. Breakfast was nice in the morning, got a room with breakfast included, but not worth £12.50 if not booked. Would definitely return.”

“Had an excellent stay here. Staff were welcoming and friendly even though I checked in in the middle of the night. Room was large and comfortable. Free parking was available as well as a free electric car charger which was a bonus. Overall would definitely recommend and will return in the future.”

“Perfectly located within a short walk of the nearest tram station. Staff are very informative and hospitable upon check in. Room was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely consider again when in Manchester largely based on great value for easy access into the city centre for gigs.”

“As soon as you enter the venue you are welcomed by a lovely relaxing smell which is throughout the building to the rooms. The staff greeted us and let us store our luggage until check in time. We came back after getting lunch at a spot around the corner, early check in was not available. The room was really big - we booked the standard room - and decor was 10/10. Really chic and industrial. Love that you have a fridge in your room and given nice water and coffee/tea selections. We did not dine in the restaurant unfortunately, however it looked and smelled great with a really chilled atmosphere. The only thing I could suggest to enhance our stay would be if there was a 2nd mirror in the room as it was a struggle for us both to get ready together. Also, the kettle was quite an odd choice for the rest of the room being so well decorated... it was just an old black plastic one (just a small point to make but it didn't effect our stay). Will be back. The location was perfectly handy for getting around the city. Right beside China Town and the Gay Village.”

“Me and my colleagues call in every Friday for a few drinks and a catch up. The guys working here are amazing, always happy to welcome us and make us feel at home. Lovely and welcoming atmosphere. Love it here and the staff, especially our Vicki, Laura and Sasha who put up with our Friday heads every week.”

“Great rooms, decent size. Everything you need. Bathrooms are tired to be honest and the bathroom floor needs changed, it was old vinyl and bubbled causing it to raise in areas. The restaurant staff at dinner were extremely friendly and good service. The food was exceptional.”

“Cannot beat the location right in city centre , plenty of shops nearby and less than 10 mins walk from Piccadilly station! Rooms are comfortable , clean and good price. Breakfast is good value too with a wide range of items available. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again.”
