Premier Inn Manchester Bury hotel

"Our second stay here which will definitely be our last. Having parked the car in the underground car park adjacent to the hotel, you are greeted by the stench of stale urine and freshly smoked weed as you climb the stairs with your luggage (the car park lifts don't work). No signs of anyone habiting the stairwell when we arrive though we glimpsed a hoodie briefly, who melted away somewhere, when we left at the end of our stay. The staff at the reception desks are cold, with almost an underlying hostility. My children said the room 'smelt funny', which was a pervasive background smell of foul body odour. We'll find somewhere else to stay for our next trip north."

"Hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are older than some of the newer premier inn rooms but are still fine for the price. One thing to note is the tram noise, which is noticeable and slightly annoying on the side facing the track. It isn’t noticeable on the side facing the town, as I have stayed in two rooms."

"Nice helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, lovely clean room and very comfortable bed and nice and quiet at night. Will definitely return."

"I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Bury as I was having some unexpected work at my home and needed to move out overnight. When I arrived at the Inn I was too early and was told by Linda who was on duty at the time that I was welcome to sit in the lounge area and watch TV and she even offered to make me a drink, she really looked after me as I had told her I was in a lot of pain due to having oesteoporosis if the spine. I will always remember her kindness. As far as the hotel I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness so well done Premier and all the staff"
