“Absolutely lovely pub, very nice exterior and interior. Made a last minute decision to come for Sunday roast, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, they were more than happy to accommodate us in the bar area. Food came out fairly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. A decent sized portion and every part of it was tasty! Will definitely come again to try other items on the menu.”

“Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Reception staff are lovely and they offer room service. All of their food is delicious from the restaurant and when delivered to rooms. They have a hot tub as well as a pool (though they don't allow kids in it). Well cleaned, baths and showers are well maintained but you may need to ask for a fan in the summer as the windows don't open fully. Only thing to watch out for (especially for business travellers) is if you require wifi access for more than 1 hour, you have to pay extra.”

Always busy .would recommend this place to anyone they do a whole range of food choices...also favouring from non spicy , mild , spicy and very hot. The chips are always fab clean oil used. Love and have been visiting these branches for many years now”

“I've never been here before, so I booked a table for Valentine’s Day. Called the restaurant as we were running about 10 minutes late, and that was no issue. Got there and was seated right away. I got a table in the corner, which was nice, and also a red rose on the table for all dinners, nice Valentine’s Day touch. Had a choice of the main menu or special menu, ordered from the main menu. The food came quickly and was really nice. Will definitely go back.”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

Good reasonably priced food and drink options, live entertainment on some Friday nights, open mike night Thursdays and fantastic Sunday roast dinner options with acoustic singer too. Alternatively you could call in fir a coffee and cake(s). Highly recommended.”

“Went to the Boundary Stone for a family meal on Thursday 10/11/2022 it was our first time and already booked for next week. Food was very tasty and well presented we all enjoyed our meals. “Came in today for some snacks after a walk round Worsley. First let me say…. The staff in here never disappoint they’re so welcoming to both me and my children every time I come in. The foods lovely as always, service can’t be faulted. Sat with the children and they come over to see if they’d like any colours and stuff. They speak to you in a friendly manner and the whole atmosphere is so relaxed it’s just a good vibe. We only had snacks today but we often visit and I’ve never had an issue with food. Because my daughter wanted some of the nachos but doesn’t like the sauces they even delivered them separate and then only put cheese on half of them for us - nothings too much trouble. Can’t wait to visit again for a roast!!”
