“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Great laid back cinema with comfy seating. You can get Pizza and beer to take into the film, perfect! Has an arcade and ten pin bowling attached and always has a great atmosphere! Staff are friendly and love dressing up for the latest releases! There were some sights for Avatar!”

“Celebrated a birthday with work and the food and service were incredible! Food was cooked fresh with good size portions. The owner and staff went out of their way to serve us and provide our order. I'd recommend the chicken jalfrezi. A top night!”

“Went there today at 4pm. Ordered soup for my mum and I had prawn cocktail plus two roast dinners lamb it was absolutely delicious plus chocolate fudge cake and cheese cake will definitely be going again. Prices good for the quality of food.”

“A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.”

“I love coming to frankies wine bar. It's a great place for food and drink. They have good music artists on ever so often. The staff a friendly. We had a pram and they let is into the back room to have food which was nice.”

“We visit Rock Salt on a regular basis and have always leave with a very positive experience. The cafe bar has such a lovely vibe and the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. A special mention goes to Vera whose commitment to the business is both obvious and outstanding. Steve is also a lovely and hard working member of staff. Jamie has a great command of the kitchen … the team turns out food of a consistently high standard and we always thoroughly enjoy our meals there. “We have stayed at this PI regularly for about 15 years so that we can visit family. Even though team members have changed, it is still staffed by a great team of friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Thank you all! However, over the last couple of years, a very clear and "uncomfortable" demarcation has evolved between this PI and the associated restaurant. The restaurant has extremely rigid rules for eating times etc. and enforces them in a forthright manner... it makes the whole hotel experience unpleasant. We prefer to eat at the great Café in Tesco, a short walk away. The staff are really lovely and the food is good - far less stressful.”

“Load of us stayed her for a few nights for a family wedding and we had the best time ever. The staff are amazing, went above and beyond for our help and needs. the rooms are fresh and clean. Vending machine, extra tea and coffee etc, clean bedding and towels all at reception in case you need more. Pity the old rectory didn’t have the same standards.”
