AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester Salford Quays
● Open“Used a voucher for Tapas afternoon tea, think this one beats the English version. We were served by a friendly member of staff, it would have been nice to have items explained what they were. Sat on a nice comfy sofa in the window drinking a G&T watching the word go by .”

Factory Coffee Mcr
● Open“Factory Coffee is a cozy and simple coffee in Manchester. The location is good and the design of the coffee shop is gorgeous and lovely. You can enjoy a good time there. I’m quiet agree it’s the best coffee in Manchester. The coffee tasted rich, sweet and smooth. If you want to try the cakes there, remember to visit earlier. So sad for me couldn’t try the cake because I visited late. All sold out ;( I will come early next time xoxo”

The Alchemist MediaCity UK
● Open“Great bar with an awesome view. A wide selection of original and classic cocktails. Bar staff were great and really helpful in taking the time to suggest the best ingredients for cocktails to meet our specific tastes. Connor and his colleague (I didn't get her name. Apologies) were really attentive and explained well what worked best for our favourite drinks and left us with great recommendations. Well worth a visit.”

Grindsmith At Media City
● Open“Great coffee shop located in the MediaCity. It is very bright inside, with large floor-to-ceiling windows making two of the four walls. The interior is done in a minimalist style, dominated by colours like white, grey and black. However, it does not feel hostile. There are two floors, the upper floor is only accessible via stairs, but the ground floor can be accessible on a wheelchair. The music inside is on a louder side, so I don't think it is a right place if you like to read or focus with a cup of coffee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You make an order as you come in, pay, and then wait for it to be brought to your table. The service can be slow, but not because nobody cares, just nobody is in a rush. The flat white I ordered was great, very smooth and creamy. The drink size is quite small, but the taste makes up for it. The bake was also great. The prices are only slightly higher than in Starbucks or Costa Coffee, but the quality is superb. Overall, I think it is a great coffee shop for a cup of good coffee and friendly service.”

YHA Manchester Hostel
● Open“A great hostel, with bar and breakfast. We arrived around mid-night and the bar was open for beers and food, which was awesome. The bedrooms were super clean and warm. The bathroom didn’t have pressure on the watwr and was small, but it was inside the room so we didn’t have to go to the one at the end of the corridor.”

The Ainscow Hotel
● Open“Decent location, not too fancy, but it does the job considering the price. If you're claustrophobic, please ensure that you do not book a room with the window. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to centre Manchester. The hotel is quiet, and the bar area is open 24/7. Worthwhile”
