“I never usually shop at Sainsbury but called in as they have a Argos store inside, so did some shopping before I collected my order from Argos. Pleasantly surprised at the range of products and also more importantly, price. I will be shopping here from now on!”
M&S Foodhall
“It's amazing walking into this place as their air conditioning throughout the store is perfect. It's cold but not too cold (to give some context, I'm writing this during a heatwave). They have a really good selection of food and wine and is always a good place to go for a nice meal when you're feeling lazy. They don't have much in terms of raw materials as it's only a small store but still manages to have a lot on offer. One problem they do have, which in fairness is somewhat out of their control, is getting into and out of the car park can be difficult as it if shared with a KFC and is adjacent to a main road.”
Co-op Food - Barton Road
“Friendly staff and a good range of products for a small supermarket.”
Morrisons
“Store is always well stocked and it’s convenient with friendly staff. Personally I will never order from the cafe again, I found the tables and floors to be very dirty, the day I went it would definitely not pass food hygiene standards, the management really need to look at this, I’m not the first to mention it check out the reviews for the cafe, it’s a real shame as the store over all is lovely and this cafe is letting it down!!!”
Co-op Food - West Didsbury - Burton Road
“2 hours delivery, good but be careful to switch off taps and cookers. Due to delivery that is often arriving promptly. in Flats where residents can be busy. A good idea that the Co op needs to text message to make elderly residents aware giving time to switch off appliances before answering the door.”
News,Food & Booze

Tesco Superstore
“Friendly and efficient staff at this smaller Tesco which has no cafe but does have a toilet, cash dispenser, and filling station. As befitting it’s size it sells all the basic household goods and food, but only a small range of electrical goods and clothing. A great local store.”
Morrisons
“You can buy practically everything here... From eggs to meat through milk and cheese to the pot and plates in which you can prepare it all. I recommend”
Star Freeze

Bernie's Grocery Store
“Absolutely fab. Came in on a Sunday morning after a late night. Very friendly guy sorted us out with delicious coffee before a long drive home.”
Tesco Express
“The rank and file staff were superb after a slip. The manager appeared to try and play it down. Left the shop to get a lift from friend. While giving up on the manager returning for permission to give me a copy of the accident report written. Didn't appear trained in first aid either. But I am an imposing character when in pain. Still no call from anyone management wise. In over 24 hours. To check I got home ok. And to advise on what the next process (as I was told that there would be one), would entail. I suppose filling an out of hours accident form, denying visible evidence of a slip. And apparently unconcerned until learning of the previous dislocation. He is a nice guy. Certainly wouldn’t trust him in a fire fight though...seemed too reluctant to acknowledge the accident at first as well. Nerves probably. Like I said. Not the best when in pain. Never felt any of the staff showing a lack of interest before. Including management. And I regularly shop there.”
