French Taco'o
● Closed“Vibes: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Great conversations with even more excellent food; what more can you ask for? This food place has single-handedly restored my and my partner's faith in local takeaways! We originally came in out of curiosity but will be returning for the quality. We got the Chicken Taco'o with their burger mayo and Algerian sauce, and oh mon dieu, was it amazing. The only grievance we have is that we didn't get more of it! If you want to start your day right, boost your day, or end your evening, come to this place, honestly, you won't regret it.”

Salsa de Cuba
● Closed“Salsa de Cuba! Fantastico! The ONLY authentic, Havana university trained dance teachers in Manchester. I have done all of their dance courses except one in the last 5 years. Juan & Susan have also given me the amazing opportunity to participate in many dance performances of which I am eternally honoured to have done. I also went on one of their Cuba holidays which was one of the best experiences ever! Not many dancers can say that they’ve even danced with their dance teachers beautiful family in their kitchen, in the heart of Havana with a live band.....you’ll never experience that on any other Cuba package holiday! Nor will you ever receive such friendly, professional dance advice elsewhere! Well done Salsa de Cuba. Much love & future success”

Capri's Cucina Italiana
● Closed“Manchester has a new authentic Italian restaurant in the form of Capri’s Cucina Italiana on King Street - it’s a family owned restaurant that provides true quality with the freshest of ingredients The flavours were absolutely delicious and our favourites were the baked aubergine & potato gnocchi. Not forgetting the nutty chocolates they make in-house that were the beautiful ending that we didn’t need and thoroughly enjoyed”

● Closed“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Gaucho Manchester
● Closed“Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.”

Siam Smiles Thai Restaurant
● Closed“I brought my Thai mum here and I am so glad I did! I could tell it was going to be good just from looking at the menu and photos, but wow, if you want delicious, authentic Thai food, this is the place. There are so many incredible dishes on the menu that you just can’t get in a lot of other Thai restaurants, I can’t wait to come back and try more already! We came pretty early, about 4 o clock, and we were there till 7 because we loved it so much and were chatting away with Chef May. It did start getting pretty busy after 6 though (even on a Wednesday), so I would definitely recommend booking ahead! I find it a bit ridiculous that people are complaining about the issue of the toilet being round the corner, it’s really not far and I noticed that other restaurants and businesses in Deansgate Mews also have their own toilets in the same block. It’s hardly a sacrifice to eat delicious Thai food in a cute, casual setting in my opinion, unless you have mobility issues, but hey, each to their own. I also disagree with the complaints I’ve seen about pricing, considering chef May’s prices are in line with every other Thai restaurant I’ve been to (and I’ve been to many), plus her food is tasty, excellent quality, and are generous portions too. Myself and my mum both got one of our favourite noodle dishes - Kuai Tiew Moo Nam Tok, and the portion was huge! I also highly recommend the tod maan pla (thai fishcakes). Thank you chef May for a lovely visit and for chatting with us, we will be back soon!”

Thaikhun
● Closed“That one taste the same as we did in Thai. Curry chicken soup noodles is a bit salty, the prawn pineapple fried rice is palatable. Two adults and two kids spent £42.8 (after discount). Must go again!”

Bem Brasil Deansgate
● Closed“Excellent. Hadn't booked, but managed to get us in after a 30 minute wait. Sat by 8.15pm, food served until 9.30pm which meant all the options didn't come round, so would recommend booking earlier. Nice veggie options, couldn't finish the tomato gnocchi. Would highly recommend, and recommend booking.”

Koreana Restaurant
● Closed“This is my second time visiting Koreana. The staff are professional and attentive. Everything is great. We ordered some BBQ dishes and they were perfectly seasoned. The BBQ also came with lettuce and a variety of sauces and pickled greens which complement them nicely. Every dish we have tried so far is amazing. And their homemade desserts are not to be missed. We always order their ice creams after a meal; they are refreshing and satisfying especially after a heavy BBQ dinner. Service is great. We ordered assorted pickles and were given just one type. We thought it was strange so asked a waiter who then immediately checked it for us. They quickly brought out the right dish and apologised for the mistake. So very pleased all in all. The only things I would nitpick on are that the portion seems a bit small for the price. But since they don’t charge a service fee the total bill is still quite reasonable. And also they tend to bring out all dishes at once so I’d recommend to order the desserts after you’ve finished with your meal. Definitely recommend and will always come back here for Korean BBQ.”
