“Absolutely incredible! Visited with a friend and her 2 year old daughter on a Saturday for brunch. The owners were both super hands on and really friendly - all the colleagues were fantastic and really great with my friends daughter. It's great to see an eatery where the service is still personal and you get a real sense of family and pride from everybody. The food was outstanding - really good selection and lovely nod to NZ food. We had two brunch dishes and desserts. The bakery selection also looked fabulous. And of course they sell L&P! Have already recommended to everybody and will definitely be coming back regularly. Thanks so much!”

“Mexican Villa is a restaurant where you can tell the cooks are passionate about the food they're creating: the food is always of a high quality, is affordably priced and doesn't compromise on flavour. I absolutely recommend giving it a try - the lamb chops are served in a delicious sauce and the slow-cooked beef is fantastic however it's served.”

“Best Chinese I’ve had in a bloody long time!!!!! Salt and pepper chips are beautiful and over not seasoned! Frozen food are good and tasty but their fresh wok made food is beautiful. Got a dry chicken chow mein spicy and it was so goooood. The staff are so friendly and have good customer service. You’ve got to try here!!!!”

“I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect. The staff were warm and knowledgeable which always helps. Definitely one to try for any sushi aficionados!”

“Wow oh wow. I wish I lived in Manchester just to be able to get my haircut done here regularly! I had a short stay in Manchester and desperately needed a good haircut. Booking my appointment was easy peasy, thanks to their online booking system. I had no clue who to choose, all their staff seemed extremely talented but after looking them up on Instagram (they share their Instagram), I picked Athena and there’s only one word to describe how I felt about my haircut: wow. Athena took the time to ask me great questions to help her understand what style I was looking for. She was so careful with cutting my hair, it was like she was “crafting” my haircut and it was great watching her go! I couldn’t have been happier with the end result! Thank you!!”

“Loved it. Went in looking for a few local brewed tins, and the guy at the counter was more than helpful despite being on his lunch break. I even found the bargain bin section with a few tins that we're nearing or past the sell by date, and grabbed a few bargains. Will be back!”

“Hosts very welcoming as I arrived late and they organised a taxi for me . Bed was very comfortable clean and tidy room and bathroom. I was in awe at the view from the breakfast room / lounge - amazing views of the Diglea valley - sheep and lambs in fields - hens clucking around the car park . I chose my breakfast which was freshly cooked whilst I admired the views and peace . The hosts were kind and gave lots of information about the history of the area . A definite recommended from me .”

“My favourite hotel in Manchester. Lovely restaurant for breakfast and dinner with both fine dining and casual options. The location is perfect, close to the train station and easy to get around Manchester by foot or public transport. The rooms are spacious and quite with excellent amenities.”
