“After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”

“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”

“Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. It’s lovely food and clean… tonight the UBER delivery man refused to going into the gated complex where she lives and said my 76 year old grandma will have to walk all the way out of the complex in the cold wet and dark to get her order, I explained she’s disabled and can not walk that far and I’m 30mins away but my grandma can collect it from the apartment door so he would not have to go into the building as she is in a ground floor apartment so just into the car park but the rude UBER driver refused and said well he’s not driving through the gates so she won’t be able to have her food… I rang the shop direct and the the staff were so apologetic and the owner went out of his way and drove all the way there himself to take her food to her front door… so this takeaway is very highly recommended as staff and food are great… Thank you!”

“Same as it was 10+ years ago, which is no bad thing. South Asian type kebabs, spicier than the Turkish/Schwama/Middle eastern type and one of the best around for this type of food. There are better in Rusholme, but they are £3-4 more expensive. Nice crunchy and fresh salad. Sad to see them decline from multiple branches to just this one and I don't understand why as the food is much better than the majority of kebab shops.”
