“I brought my Thai mum here and I am so glad I did! I could tell it was going to be good just from looking at the menu and photos, but wow, if you want delicious, authentic Thai food, this is the place. There are so many incredible dishes on the menu that you just can’t get in a lot of other Thai restaurants, I can’t wait to come back and try more already! We came pretty early, about 4 o clock, and we were there till 7 because we loved it so much and were chatting away with Chef May. It did start getting pretty busy after 6 though (even on a Wednesday), so I would definitely recommend booking ahead! I find it a bit ridiculous that people are complaining about the issue of the toilet being round the corner, it’s really not far and I noticed that other restaurants and businesses in Deansgate Mews also have their own toilets in the same block. It’s hardly a sacrifice to eat delicious Thai food in a cute, casual setting in my opinion, unless you have mobility issues, but hey, each to their own. I also disagree with the complaints I’ve seen about pricing, considering chef May’s prices are in line with every other Thai restaurant I’ve been to (and I’ve been to many), plus her food is tasty, excellent quality, and are generous portions too. Myself and my mum both got one of our favourite noodle dishes - Kuai Tiew Moo Nam Tok, and the portion was huge! I also highly recommend the tod maan pla (thai fishcakes). “First time at Akbar's today and I was very impressed! The food is very reasonably priced and the portion sizes cannot be grumbled at. Also, the giant "family naan" is a must have and definitely worth it - very tasty as well. The "Big un" challenge is very tasty and you get a lot of food for just under £15, definitely worth it! The food was very tasty and enjoyable, service was also quick and staff were friendly and helpful. Menu was quite extensive as well and has lots of options, vegans go elsewhere because none of your fake plant meat stuff is served here. Would definitely return. One bad thing I'd say is the size of the main eating area, it does seem to be rather cramped and the tables aren't that big either, because it's cramped there's basically people walking past your table the entire time, not the end of the world but when you're sat near a family of loud kids that decide to run around and knock into your table it does get annoying!”

“My experience living at Globe House has been nothing but pleasant. I love my spacious apartment and the facilities downstairs such as the spa & gym are just a bonus. It takes me 10/15 minutes to walk straight into the city centre which is ideal for me. I would definitely recommend living here, all the staff are kind and considerate and I never miss a parcel with the concierge service!”

“Manchester has a new authentic Italian restaurant in the form of Capri’s Cucina Italiana on King Street - it’s a family owned restaurant that provides true quality with the freshest of ingredients The flavours were absolutely delicious and our favourites were the baked aubergine & potato gnocchi. “I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect. The staff were warm and knowledgeable which always helps. Definitely one to try for any sushi aficionados!”

“Overwhelmingly positive experience. Got recommended a rare wine from Uruguay that was the best wine I’ve tried. The meat variety and quality is ridiculously good, the waiters keep coming to offer new cuts of meat with a span of minutes until you stop them, and trust me you will. I was there for 2 and a half hours and ate all I could, nobody rushed me and the service is 10/10. I would highly recommend this place either for a date, going out with friends or family. It’s great for any case. I’ll have to fast for a day after this, but worth it!”

“Was staying at a hotel and Ordered some food on just eat. The estimated time for delivery Had passed but the app said the food was delivered. So i phoned the restaurant to find out what happened. I was told that the driver arrived, tried phoning me, but no answer, so they left (I didn't recieve any phonecalls, I was using my phone all the time I was waiting for my delivery) . The guy on the phone apologised, and said he would get fresh food made up for me. After I got off the phone I realised there were missed calls from the driver, even though my phone didn't ring. 15 minutes my replacement order arrived, the driver was apologetic and understanding, and smiling, even though the initial problem was kind of my fault (technology problem I guess),.... Food was lovely, full of flavour, and hot. ..And this was at 3am. That's what you call customer service! Great food, great service, great restaurant. Fully recommend”

“Cheetham Star was closed for 19 months and finally its reopened. I really missed this place. Highly recommend their food, its usually delicious authentic middle eastern food, its fresh, especially the kobeda and chicken tikka on rice or naan. Really well made pizza's from here. Staff are friendly and the service is pretty quick, can eat inside or takeway. It can get busy at times. Really worth a visit. 5 stars!”
