“Great menu, fab cakes all home made. Lovely terrace outside, so nice and Covid safe. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the best hand cut ham sandwiches I have had. Cappuccino came with a fun chocolate dusting. Returning on Monday for some more cake.”

“Three of us called in this cafe for our lunch . We sat at a table upstairs and were served quite quickly . The chargrilled chicken was really nice and you got plenty of it with rice and side salad Also I had a cheese, ham and onion panini which came with chips . We ordered Halloumi fries between us ( they were little oblong pieces of Halloumi rather than fries shape ) which was a nice change and were lovely . I would say the only thing to improve the service is to not clear the table before everyone has finished eating and also ask if finished before just taking the plates . I would go again and recommend this place .”

“Decided to go for lunch on Sunday, last minute. Rang and they managed to fit 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. Very friendly, lovely food and tons of outdoor play equipment for the boys. Thankyou xx”

“We had the most amazing bacon & egg butties this week. The service was excellent, the staff welcoming and the pub itself is clean and cosy. We took our dog with us and she was made very welcome and enjoyed the biscuits they gave her! Would highly recommend and will be visiting to try the Sunday lunch now!”

“Another 5* experience at the Grove today. I was able to speak to the wonderful chef Haz who adapted a dish to accommodate my husbands ( numerous) food allergies. My chicken flatbread was amazing too. Lovely welcoming staff. Really worth a visit.”

“Stayed for two nights as part of the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner package. Staff were excellent. Signature room we stayed in was very comfortable and modern. Food at breakfast, dinner and the NYE dinner all really excellent indeed. Nice temperature in the swimming pool and even nicer in the outdoor hot tub! Can't really fault this place and so would highly recommend a stay here.”

“Newish improvements to the paths around the park are much appreciated. Easier access to the park from Dunham village would help older people, wheelchair users and some older dogs.”

“Took a visit to this place last night with the girlfriend and 2 kids my kids was slightly noisy but can’t be helped and one left a mess sorry again the food was absolutely incredible and great for the value of money I’d definitely return here as I loved it and the window seat was great for my little lad who’s obsessed with cars and trucks he loved it thankyou”

“We had a very comfortable, well equipped room with ample Tea and coffee and biscuits available. Large TV with an excellent bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and very helpful Andrea on reception was welcoming and efficient. The hotel is in a very peaceful, tranquil location it is a very old, listed building with character. Thank you to Scott the General Manager who gave us a tour of the night club which is undergoing a major refurb and uplift. A fantastic, atmospheric, period venue perfect for any occasion. We will definitely be returning when the hotel upgrades are completed in the summer.”

“Lunch visit - 4th Nov 2022. Great food (I had gammon) and good drinks - decent lagers and cider. Would like to stop there as a guest at some point in the future - looks like a great setup. Me and my little Poke-Pal enjoyed our visit.”
