“So I was about to go to Sainsbury's cafe when I chanced upon this lovely little cafe. Pleasant place for a nice bite to eat. Only takes cash so make sure you have some on you. The price is reasonable and the staff are helpful.”

“Absolutely love Strinesdale foot paths and 2 large Reservoir's that allow fishing. It also has free parking and is that vast of a space you can walk round it and not bump in to anyone. Strinesdale also has a few picnic areas and amazing views out to the Pennines. There are 3 different routes you can take for that casual stroll or if you are looking to explore of the beat and track you can end up right in the hills and come out at a little farm house. All in all this is one of my favourite places to walk my dog and would recommend it to anyone.”

“The girls at Petal Bloom designed and supplied our wedding flowers. We were absolutely over the moon with the results when we saw them on the day. We didn't want a "flowery" wedding we wanted just enough for the bridal party and the rest to be rustic with greenery. The girls understood my vision and got it just right! My bouquet was huge, messy and dark ... the exact words I used to explain what I wanted. But it was so elegant and even had streams of burgendy ribbon running from in for that little something extra. I couldn't have asked for more! The boys button holes were perfect ... not too much but went perfectly with the rest of the wedding. The girls were easy, had so many ideas, professional, talented ... I could use all the positive adjectives in the world!! We will be booking for another afternoon tea very soon ... as that is also SPOT ON! If you want somewhere nice for a spot of lunch. “Food is lovely. Expensive for what it is and somewhat over priced. The staff try and be too technical and insist on taking orders on ipads. They don't accept cash which is a problem when I have been in the past and the system stops working. The food is lovely so it definitely compensates although not something you most afford to do regular. Great for couples etc. But would definitely be far too expensive to go with a family and children. Although there is seating outside none of the inside is wheelchair accessible if you wanted to keep warm. Very young staff for the most part but lovely.”

“It was my first visit to Morrisons cafe even though we love to do our weekely shopping here. Amazing layout all over and wide spread menu to soothe the taste bud while in rush to get things done. Recently tried tjier amazing food offer of a jacket potato called Henry too. I must say fresh brewed black roasted coffee was one of the best things available.”
