“Very well organised. Nice and clean. Disabled access was good. Bar drink code was adequate and refreshments were available. Excellent idea of being able to order drinks for the interim period so you could just pick them up. Toilets were superbly clean. Such a grand place to visit and experience.”

“We just had a 3 day , 2 night family gathering here for 12 people and 4 dogs. We received exceptional treatment, nothing was too much trouble. We all had afternoon teas which were absolutely amazing, and we had lovely evening meals too. The rooms were all lovely and clean, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The staff (in particular Sean & Loraine.) Have wonderful customer service skills, and make you feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, its A true hidden gem.”

“We stayed in the shepherds hut was a comfortable couple of nights. Had a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo , washing up liquid which surprised us . A pint of milk in fridge was a lovely welcome . Lots of books to read, we took a radio too . Very impressed with the hut and we will be back”

“Photos are from various visits. This is just the best venue for music in Manchester. We mainly go for the BBC Philharmonic and the Halle. It's a really nice, cosy and welcoming place, making it more accessible for everyone to enjoy orchestral music.”

“Great little local theatre, in New Mills. run by local volunteers and donations. Had fun evening plenty of laughs at the comedy store show. You won’t be disappointed.”

“The lowry theatre is amazing! The shows they put on are perfect and the venue itself is kid friendly and let's the 'older' ones enjoy a delightful night out! They put on musicals, performances, and even art galleries. My favourite shoes that I've recently watched are Six, Blood Brothers and Clue!”

“This is one of those buildings that if walls could speak....The Octagon Theatre in the centre of the inside of the building holds 700 people and was designed like it is for the acoustic sounds.”

“A great place to work, there's a really good community feel here and they promote it well through a well thought out communal space and free activities for businesses located here. There are on site catering and filming studios as well as good safe parking and 24-hr security.”

“Cheap modern and clean set up which was perfect for an overnight stay after going to a gig @ band on the wall ...literally about 100 yards down the road. Nice breakfast by the looks, but didn't partake. Would definitely use again for.the same reason... smack in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester”

“Always a lovely experience in this gorgeous, intimate theatre. A thoroughly enjoyable interpretation of a Christmas Carol made fun and engaging by the multi-talented cast. Some care needed with the acoustics, using mics is great when it's performed in the round but the instruments can drown out the vocal at times..”

“We decided to take a chance & come here for a bite to eat before we were going to the Theatre. We were tempted in by their 50% off food during January. Best decision of the night, we will definitely be going back here. It is a big place and when we got there at 5pm, there were plenty of tables. 2 hours later, it was busy. All the staff are amazing, especially Thomas & Monica. We had the ribs, Beef brisket sandwich and the Big burger. I also had one of the cocktails too. The service is fantastic, friendly & quick. The food and drink was delicious. As we were celebrating a special occasion, Thomas, Monica and the others made sure that it was extra special and a night to remember. I was bowled over by their kindness. It is a place were I will definitely go for food when I'm in town again. I have a feeling that it is also going to be a favourite for my 22 year old son, girlfriend & friends to go for drinks too as it is especially appealing to their age group too.”

“We were lucky enough to stay one night here in the inner sanctum suite- it is incredible! The tv screens with live views of Manchester was an extra bonus! The bed and sofa were both incredibly comfy and the shower was amazing. We decided to eat in the restaurant and had a wonderful meal looking out over the sunset across Manchester and it was stunning the food was fab and the service was brilliant. And because we could we then went up to brass for a cocktail what a cool little bar the service again was wonderful every little detail was perfect even bringing water over whilst we decided on our order. I would absolutely stay again and if you get the chance go you won’t regret it!”

“Really loved staying here. The room itself was very nice, stylish, functional and comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic, the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare your own meals (not that I cooked), and the wifi was very reliable. I was booked here by work to stay here for 3 nights and I was able to easily book an extra night myself and the hotel staff were able to easily arrange for me to stay in the same room and not have to check out and in again. I will likely stay here next time I'm in Manchester. The only negative thing I would say is that the lifts are slow or there are not enough of them, because I always had to wait and there always seemed to be people waiting to use them.”
