Adore Dance London
● Closed“Adore Dance is a wonderful studio. I joined the Adult Jazz class over a year ago after a long break from dance. Whether you’ve danced before or not, Connor is excellent at teaching the relevant techniques whilst also keeping it light and fun, with some routines in there too. It’s a welcoming place, regardless of skill level so don’t hesitate!”

● Closed“Amazing place to train, I joined a few years back and being in my mid forties I was a little reluctant. The whole setup is like a brotherhood, with a lot of respect for one another. The leadership is phenomenal difficult to express how good this place is.. If I could give 10 stars I would.”

Kelechnekoff
● Closed“I had a great experience here. I found the studio to be clean and well looked after, and I appreciated the extra safety precautions that were implemented to ensure my safety with covid still around. The instructor I had for beginners pole was lovely and took the time to explain everything in clear concise terms which meant I was able to progress well and get the hang of a couple of moves in just one class. Would recommend!”

Boxfit UK Ltd
● Closed“Shocked at how easy and quick my item shipped! Not to mention excellent communication from BoxFit UK! We ordered a large item but the only option (I didn’t know the exact weight) was next day delivery. They proactively emailed saying they were sorry that due to the size it wouldn’t be “next day” and apologized for the inconvenience (no inconvenience on my part! I had a feeling this might be the case) but it STILL arrived via DPD 2 days after order submission! I was shocked when DPD showed up with my dog food delivery AND our century wavemaster XXL at the same time! They were also better priced than some of their competitors in the UK. Very pleased with this company/product.”

Charlton Lido and Lifestyle Club
● Open“A wonderful outdoor Olympic (50m) size lido in south-east London. Extremely clean and heated year round making winter swimming possible, even without a wetsuit. Inside and outdoor changing facilities. Friendly staff and a nice mix of local leisure bathers and a friendly swimming community make for a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Some swimming and triathlon clubs train here too. There's a full Better gym on-site (which can be used for an extra fee) and something quite unique, an outdoor spin studio overlooking the pools. Some of the spin instructors are very entertaining as they motivate their classes :). You will definitely leave feeling refreshed and happier than when you arrived.”

Bodysmiths
● Open27 High Street, Green Street Green, Orpington BR6 6BG, United Kingdom“Felicity is a phenomenal Osteopath, I work with Felicity to manage Scoliosis and the impact of desk work whilst preparing my body to build strength and flexibility for lofty goals relating to Gymnatics, Callisthenics and Dancing! Felicity will genuinely partner with you to achieve sustainable wellbeing and performance. She is always extreemly thorough in her assessment and takes a holistic approach to getting you in top form. She asks great questions to get to the root cause of what is causing the physical problem - not only in your body, but in your life - be that your exercising style or routine, posture whilst working, stress management, mindset, sleeping position, pillows, matresses, shoes - the lot! She helps you to set priotities and goals for making the changes in your own life that will help keep pain and injury from recurring and then then fulfills her part of the deal and works her magic. Next session, she will hold you accountable by following up on those agreements and actions in a non-judgmental and practical way - understanding the balance between "the perfect world" and the "practical world" - which is an important balance to strike for anyone who has a high achievement drive. I would highly Felicity - not just for a short-term fix, but to achieve sustainable peak performance in whichever sport you pursue.”

Vita Health Group - Woodford Green
● Open“Very friendly gym. Nice and cheerful staff. Used the Gym for a long time, loved the Body Pump classes and the main gym area. Few machines can be replaced but again you are not paying through the roof to get into a 5 star facility. It is a good gym and a nice bunch of people. Good timings and decently maintained. Recommended.”

Gym Clinic
● Open“I've been a member of the Gym Clinic for around a year and a half and in that time the gym has gone from strength to strength. It is a professionally operated, private gym that caters for both novices and advance trainees. The gym itself has a number of cardio machines including treadmills, spinning bikes, cross trainers, rowing machine and step machine - along with this it has a full range of resistance machines to work every major muscle group. The machines themselves are placed in an organised location and are very accessible to new trainees who may find some free weight exercises quite daunting. The gym also has a boxing ring where classes/ 1-2-1 sessions are held for a variety of trainee levels and ages - a great edition to any gym and gives the members something you won’t find in most privately run places. The free weights area boast 3 benches, an adjustable bench press going from 180 to 90 degrees, dual cable machines with a variety of attachments, a squat rack with optional safety mechanisms and a 3D 'Jones Machine' which offers the safety of a 'Smith Machine' but with lateral movement as well as vertical. Along with these machines there are free weights ranging from 1kg up to 50kg, weight plates from 1.25kg to 25kg and assorted barbells. Lastly there is a small area outside that has a number of punching bags as well as some tyres and sledge hammers so that trainees can try some more unique approaches to cardio/strength training. The kit itself is in fantastic condition, with the cardio and resistance machines being brand new and top of the range - while also being divided into approachable locations so that new members and trainees should not feel any intimidation with using any of the equipment; especially since they all have instructions on how best to use the machines. The members are incredibly friendly, and the gym has a family vibe to it - where people of all levels mix and help create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and pleasant to exercise in. This aspect is certainly something that gives the gym clinic an edge to commercial gyms where most members are anonymous to each other; never really exchanging pleasantries or training experiences - certainly not the case here. Though despite the professional kit the gym carries, it is certainly not a 'male' gym - the membership is split quite evenly between men and women which again helps create an inviting atmosphere. The gym comes with locker facilities as well as 3 small showers that are cleaned regularly. My only criticism would be some of the lockers are faulty and so it can be difficult to find a spare locker from time to time; but this is hardly much of an issue. Overall the gym is a fantastic place to exercise - offering professional trainers, modern kit, a friendly atmosphere and at a modest fee without tying you into a long contract.”
