Noura Lebanese Restaurant, Kingston
“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”
Taylor's Wine Merchant
“Stumbled across this place on a walk around Ham: I'll be going back! Really good selection of beers, many of which are locally brewed, and had a good selection of other drinks too (ciders, wines etc) Well worth a visit in my opinion...”
Stein's Kingston
“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”
Thai On Thames
“Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area”
The Queen's Head, Kingston
“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”
The Canbury Arms Kingston
“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”
Majestic Wine Kingston
“Great service, the only problem with this place is that we always end up leaving with more than we intended!”
Kingston Workmen’s Club & Institute
“Nice relaxed vibe inside, friendly people & reasonable prices..it has dart boards & pool tables. This is not a place you can just walk in, you will either need to be a member & own a membership card to enter, or you can be signed in by a trusted membership holder. Located behind Wilkinsons on kingston High Street”
The Cocoanut, Kingston
“Really lovely pub with great Thai food and very welcoming too. It is also dog friendly which makes it 100x better. My dog had the best time ever playing with the owners dog. Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning very soon!”
Megan's at the Griffin (Kingston)
“Lovely atmosphere. Fantastic food. Very tasty and beautifully presented. The Open Posh Lamb Kebab is a must try. The house Prosecco isn’t bad either. Below scores are out of 10 Customer Service 8 Food Quality 9.5 Atmosphere 10 Presentation 9 Products 10 Location 9 Overall 9.5 I also like the sense of humour in the menu”
Las Iguanas - Kingston
“Starters Mains and Desserts, on point no complains. The Burgers were Delicious and full of flavour. Food and Service was Excellent, Not too Crowded. They also have Happy Hour Cocktails.”
Zizzi - Kingston
“Starter was great and drinks were strong and tasty but mains were disappointing, all served with chips instead of the accompaniments they were meant to be. Fast service”
O'Neill's Kingston Upon Thames
“You sort of know what you're going to get with an O'Neill's, which is a good thing. I was very impressed here, the security was efficient and friendly. Although it was busy, there was a good atmosphere and the service was very quick. The fight was being shown on various screens around the pub, and although that's not my thing, the rest of the atmosphere was good. One of the better branches in the chain.”
Cornerstone Kingston

“Great bar! The staff were amazing, friendly and fun! Great choices of drinks including rattler in bottles which I was sooo happy about! The jukebox is awesome full of all rock metal and lots of other music! Pool table is good and a nice function room. Not the biggest place but had lots of fun.”

“Lovely pub to visit. My friend and I had an amazing time. Staff are super friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this pub for families, couples, friends or whatever the event may be. The fresh flowers were lovely. It's really clean music just at the right level. And the beer on tap also amazing whatever you choose from larger to Guinness staff knew how to pour a pint or 2. I would highly recommend.”
Willoughby Arms
“A excellent range of real ales and ciders . A large interior with a bar in the middle. Snooker table and board games available. A exchange book service too. Also does pizzas to eat in with which where very nice as we tried three out of the four on offer Light music on throughout the pub and TV Screens showing sport but they will switch off if annoying. Well worth going to.”
The Spring Grove
“Had a fabulous evening at The Spring Grove recently. Staff were so friendly and accommodating to allergies that I have. The manager Alex was helpful with this and also recommended some tasty gins! I had the Porchetta to eat and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Excited to see the plans that the manager told me has for the pub!”
Tasty Bite Pizza Bar
“Honestly best lunch/dinner takeaway place by far. 10/10. After trying many takeaways i'd say this place has the most variant of delicious dishes with quality. Their pizza is amazing.”
The Swan
“Great pub with an awesome live music vibe. The new landlord is doing a cracking job. Decent beer on tap and a good pub menu as well. Highly recommended!”
The Albert
“Gorgeous decor and ambience. The staff there were totally out of this world. I was there working as a digital nomad during the day and despite the fact the young lady on the bar was alone in the morning, she went out of her way to check I was okay whilst managing other customers. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was delicious. Total gem of a place! I'll be back :)”
The Star
The Mill
“Nicole and izzie were amazing, so friendly and they gave an outstanding service. Drinks were perfect. Free sport on projectors and tv’s all around the place. There’s the option to play some snooker/pull if you’re up for it. Cheap drinks, student discount, a great mix of music (80s-present) and very friendly service. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone who wants a great night.”
