“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! “Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! “This is an old fashioned 'local' with no food served other than crisps and peanuts etc but the landlady is very friendly. My walkers group have just resumed visiting there after our walk and she always bakes delicious cakes for us. There is a nice little garden to the side of it with very comfy patio furniture”

Dr Dinesh has been amazing, has done my check ups for nearly a year now and recently performed a deep filling procedure. Always makes sure you’re comfortable and fully informed. He made sure I was absolutely satisfied with the results and answered all question informativly. Will be sticking with this practice and Dr Dinesh for as long as I can!!”

“I've been going to see Karen for roughly 7 years now. I visit regularly (approx. every 6-8 weeks). Not only is she just lovely to chat to, but straight-up professional. She knows exactly what I'm after, and being with her for so long, knows how to make my hair work for me. She's great at recommending alterations to my colour, treatments and perfectly accommodates any changes I want to my cut and blow-dry's. Really looks after me well when I'm there - knows I always love a tea, especially during my earlier appointments! Great service and stylist - would always recommend her. The team there as well are collaborative and friendly - good atmosphere all round.”

“My goodness, the food here is devine! Atmosphere - cute, could be romantic if you want it to be. There is an 'Italian home' look and feel to the place, with clothes hanging above you. Unusual, but unique. My OCD just hopes dust from the clothes don't fall on the food. The type of customers we saw whilst we were there consisted of couples and families, so expect a child or two making some noise. It wasn't to the point of being disturbing. Food - scrumptious! We ordered a starter, which was prawns in a tomato sauce with bread. I could've eaten that all night, so delicious. I then ordered a pasta with basil and cod, this isn't the actual name of the meal but that's what it consisted of. It was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the lobster, she is a chef and rated it quite high, with the only complaint being that the lobster was a tad over cooked. We also tried their best wine, not my favourite, it was a little watery. The water is bottled spring water. The chilli oil is a huge glass with a mixture of peppers in oil, felt very home made, adding to the atmosphere. Service - great. The lady serving us was good, not going above and beyond but at the same time didn't need to. She was calm and helped with any info we required. The food arrived in good time too, I'd say it took about 10-15mins to arrive. I'll definitely be returning to this lovely place. 100% recommend it.”
