“Great simple home style food and warm welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly, prompt and attentive. Everything very nicely cooked and prepared. Comfortable seating and a spotless toilet. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Its a place where old friends and close family go to meet, eat and talk. Cartons is a rare gem in this slick, overpriced eating out elsewhere around us. Bonus: no alcohol! Cartons promotes community and love that emanates from its owner Ben and pemeates to all who walk through Carton's door. Ben knows and speaks love to his food, staff and guests. We need to make sure we all tell Ben how much we value Ben and his contribution to our Stanmore community. Many of his most appreciative guests do not use social media so I am speaking up here on their behalf! Did you know that Ben will also cater for your afternoon tea events? Recently Ben provided a wonderful sandwich and cake spread for my fathers 96th birthday and my parents platinum wedding celebration tea, for 20 guests two days in a row. Highly enjoyed and now highly recommended. Ben we love you and need you. We know you are feeling tired and unwell right now. We all are wishing you the very best. Katie is a very warm and pleasant young lady always smiling and polite. Eva will definitely follow Perform on the next term and I look forward seeing her in her first performance. “Came in on a lovely Sunday afternoon and I could clearly tell that the people working there were understaffed. I ordered fish and chippy for myself and my family and I noticed that there were a lot of people also waiting to be served. We all got our meal on time, which was lovely and what what impressed me the most was the service of the staff and in particular Robert. He was so nice and understanding even though there must have been immense pressure to continue his service. Please Morrisons make sure you take care of him and his staff. “Fusion Vibes is the new local in Canons Park after the shut down of the Irish pub. It is a great place to have good food, a drink a time out with family, a time out with friends to watch sports and have a night out. Recently a DJ has been introduced into the mix on Friday nights competing with Bonovos next door. I find this place honest. You can always have a comment and the staff with listen and subsequently action. Importantly you are worth something going into this place spending your hard earned wages. Drinks are fresh, tables are nice, staff are very happy to help, especially Mr Sankalp. This guy is well spoken, knowledged, friendly, communicative, cocktail mixer, brilliant cool all at just 22. The methi gotas are great as well as the chilli Paneer. Good to go guys in a nut shell Don’t be SHY”
