“A coffee shop is a just a coffee shop surely? No. I lived near here for years and wish I came more often. It has character, friendly staff and most importantly great coffee. A nice relaxed atmosphere where you can switch off and unwind. Good service. Great prices.”

“Had my 60th Birthday here with family and friends. The Bar is lovely and Martin and Helen are great hosts and worked with me to have a great evening. The music is soul, jazz funk and classic club anthems. Food supplied for the party was delicious, hot and plentiful. Highly recommend anyone to hire this place for any get together or just pop in and enjoy the evening. I will definitely be doing both.”

“Bit of a dark horse, this one - most of my friends walked past this place at first! Cosy, cute place with attentive service and nice ambiance. We had a variety of tapas - my main complaint (echoed by my mates) was that the burrata and cheese balls were undersalted. Nice place for a quieter night out.”

“We visited here today for their bottomless brunch. I can honestly say that this is great value for money especially if you add the cocktail upgrade. Our waiter for our visit was CJ and considering it was only his second day he did a great job. Nothing was too much trouble. If you're passing and fancy some great food and even better cocktails it's well worth a visit.”

“There aren't many places that do what this place does. It has a midweek 50% off happy hour on EVERYTHING. The cocktails aren't pre-made, the shots aren't watered down and the Peroni is 2.60 a pint. It's a brave offering and it needs to be supported or your post work drinks wiĺl be limited to walkabout or spoons”

“Five Stars are for customer service, staff are brilliant, sadly the food not so, but when I spoke to a lady (who seemed to be running the cafe on her own) She refunded my bill without any hesitation. (She assured me she was not working alone, as I was concerned she was using a crutch, whilst multi-tasking across all areas of the restaurant) Morrisons you need to take better care of your staff! You talk the talk, but you seem unaware or disinterested in the way your staff are expected to work.”

“First time at this pub, arrived at 5.30 and asked if there was a table available, pub was fully booked due to the england game. They were very accommodating and found us a table. Food and service was great and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this pub.”

“This cafe must be tried, little out of town. Best to walk or use public transport as there's no parking. But you won't be disappointed. Food/ Coffee,beers and you won't believe the price's.Welcoming and cultural. Hats off to them.”

“Went there to celebrate my birthday with my family. What a lovely evening. Food was great, lovely wine(Viognier) and the service was excellent. The manager there is fantastic, he really looked after us and I must say I cannot praise him enough. That is what service should be like in a world where a lot of businesses have taken their eye off the ball regarding looking after the customer. Thank you again for a lovely evening.”

“Small but very well laid out and decorated. 8 of us turned up without booking for food and the service was A* .. all food arrived in a timely manner and was delish! Staff couldn't of been more attentive if they tried. 100% would come again, deffo recommend.”
