The Electric Cafe
“Absolute belter of a caff. Stavros and his mum (I think) are the dream team. Home made chips are amazing. Proper thick cut salty bacon. Super friendly service and great place to people watch. Like a step back in time and please never change it!”
Manny Dartin Cafe
“Amazing experience! Beautiful and fresh food and crazy good coffee ! Waiter coming to Us with ring light to help take pictures was hilarious. Im definitely coming back with friends !!! Not a lot of space for buggies and no kids menu so not really kid place but atmosphere was incredible! Love the music and cocktail!”
Little Wonder Cafe
“Came for breakfast and a coffee. Ordered 2 Oat Lattes, they were seriously good :) Better than any other coffee I had in the previous 2 weeks at different cafe's and coffee shops. The hash browns were very tasty too. Staff were very friendly. Will happily go back again. If you are vegan and looking for a good plant based coffee in the area, check them out. It's a Little Wonder!”
Winchmore Hill Cafe
“We ordered takeaway breakfast from here and their service and food was wonderful. Im not usually one to write a review, but I was so impressed I thought they definitely deserve the praise. When the order arrived, an item was missing. When we called to advise, they were so helpful. The missing item was delivered so promptly, alongside a complimentary drink- they were so friendly and apologetic. Food was totally delicious- hot, great portion sizes. Will 100% be ordering from here again.”
Chunk of green cafe
“Turkish cafe. Very good cooked breakfast and cup of tea for under ten quid.”
Pangea Cafe
“Yet to try the coffee, but the matcha was surprisingly good. Would come here again for the flat white and see if anything changes from my perspective - for now, would recommend. Owner is very friendly and welcoming”
Walton Café
“I just popped by for a cup of tea while looking to kill some time in the area. Lovely location, nice venue, friendly staff, and a good pot of tea. Fully recommended.”
The Grind Café
“SUMMARY: Lovely friendly cafe / restaurant. Consistently good. We've visited on different days at different times - always hard-working, polite, diligent, and serve great quality food and drinks. Today's pictures are on a Sunday and the place is very busy - but we don't mind. It can be a bit noisy - but it's a cheerful chatty noise. We have been here when it's super-quiet and peaceful, so it's up to you to choose a good time depending on your mood. THE MENUS: Great choices of breakfast, healthy options, Mediterranean, brunch, lunch and snacks. We're never bored with the choices. Today's photos are the grilled chicken salad after the gym. Substantial, fresh and delicious. See photos of the menus. PRICES: very fair and reasonable - generous portions. DECOR & COMFORT: Contemporary look, nice, comfortable and a choice of indoor and outdoor. At the rear there is more outdoor seating in a cute yard but is down some steps. THE SERVICE: Always good. Very attentive and well trained staff. Eye contact and a genuine concern to make your visit good. They will change things, fix things and want to do the right thing for you. TOILETS: Very clean, smell-free, large, adequate with baby-changing fold down table. Step-free level access for buggies and wheelchairs. See photos. BUT... no handrails for the disabled which really would be a bonus. There was a chap in a wheelchair in the café when we visited, and it would be so much better putting a few more facilities for the less able. (Additionally, the Café entrance step could be corrected to allow for step-free access. It's very small, but I know from experience that even these small steps can be stressful for the less-able.) Finally, regarding the toilets: it is a fashion these days to install really high-powered hand driers. The one in this toilet, like many, is DEAFENING. At some stage, the law will change and these will be removed. Illogically loud. (And you can't put your wet fingers in your ears whilst trying to dry your hands! ) THE LOCATION: Busy part of West Wickham near a cross roads and the local council gym-swimming pool. So, parking outside is on the meter - see photos. The street across the road is free is you can find space (except 1-2 pm, Mon-Fri... be careful, you will get a ticket!). Or, pay to use the gym car-park. OVERALL: You can see from the ratings that The Grind is well respected and loved amongst the locals, the elderly, the young, parents with children & babies, groups, alone, the lads from the gym, the girls on a chatty afternoon... well liked by all. Cheerful, lively, successful. Well done to The Grind. We'll be back!”
Nola Coffee
“I’m not often in Peckham, but when I am I always make it a priority to stop at Nola. Calm, cool vibes- and most importantly great coffee and food! The staff is always so nice and helpful, and if it’s not too busy I love taking my laptop/book and staying for a bit. 5 stars from me, definitely worth stopping by!”
Star Cafe
“Came for my birthday brunch, food was amazing, I'm definitely coming back when I come London again.”

Beam
“Beam is the rightfully one of the best if not the best brunch places in north London. The venue is welcoming and cozy. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food wise all salads are great, had the grilled chicken today and it was simply perfect. The goats cheese salad is also awesome. Also the Beam Benedict is a great twist of the original with lovely hollandaise sauce. You have to try this place and you'll become a fan.”
Crossroads Cafe
“Great cafe!! I had an Uber Eats delivery. I asked for poached eggs instead of fried, and grilled tomatoes/mushrooms instead of fried, and they did it! I asked for my bubble to be crisped up in the oven or under the grill, and they did it. They packaged the items well, and delivered it on time. I will definitely order from here again! Thank you.”
The Platform Cafe
“A great cafe with very friendly staff. Perfect for a coffee or a lunch with there always being something tasty on the menu.”

El Cafecito
“reallly friendly and helpful staff - I got a bag of frailejones beans after talking about the different coffee available. they ground the beans for me in store and it came with a free latte! the coffee itself tastes amazing and brewed perfectly in my moka pot at home. will definitely be back for more!”
