“Great little place. Service with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent coffee better then the Big boys. Lovely selection.”
The Roasting
“Absolutely in love with this cozy place! Fantastic spot and great addition to the area, yummy selection of pastries, panini and deli. The best cappuccino so far. This will be my treat going further!”
The Mokapot House
“The food here is superb. I have had the flans, sandwiches, salad bowels and muffins which were all delicious. The coffee is on point and the staff are friendly. The cafe is quite small which I prefer and can get busy. It's definatey a place I would recommend.”
Koyo Coffee & Workspace
“Absolutely love this place! Super lucky to have a coffee shop like this on this street. Perfect for a work space, or a sit down to catch up with friends. Food is lovely, drinks are super! Koyo stuff are always friendly and go into a lot of effort to get to know you and make you feel like you’ve just come to their house for a coffee! Must I say, cakes are also amazing. Great to also have a loyalty program that allows you to have a free coffee every now and then. Very clean, has relaxing music playing in background. This is a go to place on north road!!! Love it! Thank you for such brilliant customer service!”
The Cosy Coffee Corner
“Little coffee gem inside a church. It is very cosy and it has a few food selection including gluten free options”
Funky Elephant
“Funky Elephant catered for our wedding. Ayesha was a joy to be around, really patient and flexible dealing with our requirements. The food was amazing - so many guests came to tell us so. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!! ”
Humo Watford
“What a find! The tapas menu is amazing and the drinks are unlike any others I've had in the area. Great staff and ambience too.”
Noura Lebanese Restaurant, Kingston
“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”
Mr Falafel
“Honestly the best falafel wraps in london. So much choice too. The sumac chips always go down a treat. They take their sweet time to make the wraps but all done fresh and it's well worth the wait.”
Carpe Diem
“Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and generous portions, together with delicious food and affordable prices, make this place a winning combination. We absolutely loved it!”
Dobar
“Went with my friend today for lunch and coffee, we waited outside for a short while in a small queue before we were given a lovely window seat. It’s quite small inside with a good atmosphere, very busy, very clean and lovely decor. The service was friendly and very quick. Loved our food and will definitely go back to try some of the other delicious dishes we saw others having. 5⭐️”
Babel Grill House Lebanese halal restaurant
“Decided to walk in to this place on a Wednesday night without a reservation but we weren't turned away. The friendly man managed to find us the perfect table until our food arrived. The food was incredible. Fresh and flavorsome. Will definitely be a regular here from now on! The service, atmosphere and food was top notch!”
E Pellicci
“Always fantastic, hearty and tasty food. Friendly and fun service, family ran, honest and caring people. Best breaky and fried slice in London. Veggie options available. Amazing cafe serving breakfast-dinner. Outside seating available.”

93º Coffee
“My favourite place for a good coffee. They serve Illy which is the best Italian coffee. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is really kind. You definitely have to try their homemade food, their lasagna is THE BEST!”
Carpe Diem Coffee Bar
“Very clean and lovely staff. Prices are very fair for what you get to compare with other places. I think the decorations need a but of touch to make the place a bit cosier. In general would recommend and will go back there again.”
Green Cactus Cafe
“Such a lovely cafe. My favourite place in the area to grab a coffee. Their coffee is great and their homemade focaccia is very tasty. Would highly recommend!”

Beautiful drawings and nice furniture. Bathroom is always impeccably clean. You know the owner really cares!”

“I hardly ever leave reviews but had to this time, because this cafe is hidden gem! The staff are lovely, the drinks served in great big cups, the atmosphere is relaxing and cosy and the food - wow - I enjoyed the best eggs benedict I've ever eaten. “Amazing coffee shop in New Cross with a surprising art gallery in the basement. Delicious latte with oat milk. Friendly staff”
Kennington Lane Cafe
“There is something special about meeting the owner especially when he offers you to try the kebab doner. Come in groups or if you are a loner, but let me tell you no space if you are a moaner. Portions are generous and big, options are plenty for vegetarians and those who like to eat the whole pig, I think there is even a cake with fig, A 5/5 spot, the kind I dig.”
Top Chef Cafe
“Cannot recommend Ray and the staff enough at Top Chef Cafe! Super friendly service and very very generous with the food and making you feel welcome. Very fairly priced 10/10”
NEPA Coffee and food
“NEPA Coffe and Food is a favorite spot for those working and living in the area and a great alternative to both the coffee chains (i.e Starbucks) and and independent coffee shops (i.e Shoreditch Grind). NEPA is located on a side street off East Road and sandwiched between the Premier Inn hotel and Scape Shoreditch. Unlike other independent coffee shops that at times suffer of the Shoreditch attitude and outright bad service, the staff at NEPA are always cordial and friendly. This gives NEPA is a unique homely neighborhood cafe feel. The space is small and narrow with five to six small tables. In the summer it features three small tables for outside sidewalk sitting. It recently underwent an interior design update, which helped make the space more spacious but keeping the homely look and feel. The food on offer is a combination of coffee, tea, porridge, home baked goods and cakes - including croissants, muffins, Oreo cookie cake, lemon drizzle cake - and freshly made sandwiches and salads for lunch. The cakes and food are fresh and tasty. Opening at 7AM every day you can see the staff busy preparing the fresh food ahead of the lunch crowd. Price wise it is cheaper than your local Starbucks and the service is pure charm.”
