“Visited for the first time on a Wednesday evening as a group of 4 friends, with the purpose of seeing Rob Lamberti (who is the best George Michael/Wham tribute act out there-that’s a whole other review!) This venue is like a tardis, with a long/ split ground floor level, large function room and a contemporary outside seated area too, with and 3 bars in total. Spotlessly clean, with an very aesthetically pleasing decor. The whole venue must be newly refurbished as nothing looks tired or worn and there are very stylish black and white pictures of famous faces covering all of the walls. The bar staff are super friendly and very welcoming and the owner Christine is just a delight! We left after a very pleasant 4 hours feeling like we had made a new friend. The house Prosecco was delicious and the pizza’s served in the function room were perfectly cooked, reasonable in price and arrived promptly. Wholeheartedly recommend this venue, if we lived more locally I know we would be regulars. Parking was easy for us as we found a space in the station a 30 second walk away, but otherwise it is street parking. There are large TV’s there showing all of the must see sporting action too. The venue was absolutely buzzing and a very good evening was had by all! Wednesday is definitely our new Friday after a visit to the Seasons bar this week!”

“I love this shop. It has a great atmosphere and very fun, friendly staff. I have two small tattoos so far by Mollie and I love them. The shop has never hidden the fact that she is an apprentice and if you ask you are told (seriously, if you go into a tattoo shop and don’t ask any questions at all or ask to see a portfolio before trusting someone with large/detailed work then that’s not the fault of the shop!). I will absolutely be back again soon for my next tattoo. Much love to all at the studio!”

“This is my second time using this hair salon the first was only a style 12 yrs ago for a tie back fancy hair bun, but I had a wash/cut recently. I am from the Caribbean with Black/Native Indian curly, wavy, bushy hair mix and Lucy done a fantastic job. She actively listened to what I wanted done and also gave me recommended advice. Lucy also has curly hair so I felt comfy and in good hands. I have my follow-up trim already booked.”

“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”

“First time visiting this place. Waiting was 5-10min for a table. They are busy. Service was very good and friendly. Food came on time, as expected. Each dish was cooked well with just the right marination. Food was amazing. Loved each dish. The prawns at the starter was smashing, so good finished it, then realised that I didn't take a pic. “We used to live nearby for a few years and never went there, although had heard good things about it. Then one evening off the cuff, we gave it a try and have been regulars ever since. There are very few Indian restaurants that are pretty full all week, so I always make a point of booking. We are always well looked after with a very reasonable bill and excellent food. They've been there over 30 years, so they must have got it right and I believe the decor is the original, so it's like going back to the past although no flock wallpaper, but magnificent portions. Usually crowded with nice customers. Highly recommended. Just booked for tomorrow now.”

“This was my first visit with my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. They have just moved into the area and I was visiting. The lunch, I had the large fish & chips which in fact was very large and was very nice indeed. I was driving so had a soft drink. The service was very pleasant and efficient. It was not over busy on our visit but was very enjoyable. I understand this is going to be my sons local which I think he will be happy with. I look forward to visiting again. We got the Double grilled chicken burger with halloumi cheese, double beef burger, chips, lamb chops and milkshake. The food tasted of good quality and the staff were nice, polite and quick.
