Chiltern Referral Services
● OpenGorelands Lane, Chalfont Saint Peter, Chalfont St. Giles HP8 4AB, United Kingdom“My dog Murphy had his cruciate ligament repaired by Alex Lai a few months ago. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the care we both received. The nurses were so amazingly kind. I was far more worried than Murphy but the staff really put me at ease. Murphy breezed through his op and made a completely full recovery within 12 weeks thanks to Alex who is unbelievably skilled. The fact that Murphy still enjoys visiting the Practice speaks volumes. I cannot recommend Alex, and the nurses highly enough. Thank you all.”

The Urban Vet
● Closed“Efficient and very friendly- I needed some advice at short notice and everyone could not have been more helpful. Reassuring and pragmatic approach to the care of our cats. Clearly the whole team are animal lovers as we watched them all head out onto the pavement to rescue a sick fox as we left the practice! Very impressed all round with the care we received today- thanks”

Eco Vets Wandsworth
● Closed“One of the best vets in London, definitely the best in Wandsworth! Alex and Elba are simply fantastic! The best veterinary clinic in Wandsworth. Bobby, our 10 year old Golden Retriever had a mass in the inner lip area and Alex surgically removed the mass just a couple of days ago. They took care of Bobby from the moment we visited, to today, 3 days after the surgery. They were reassuring, available to discuss any doubt we had, very patient with us and they did a great job with Bobby. From the blood test, to the biopsy, to the removal of the mass through surgery and also the cleaning and polishing of the teeth. All of this, while having the best prices in Wandsworth compared to other veterinary clinics! They also have a great mobile app where you can schedule all your appointments, have a medical history of your dog and communicate with them. Thank you Alex and Elba for taking care of Bobby!”

Creature Comforts Cattery
● Open“My two cats stayed with Jen for nearly 2.5 months, unexpectedly much longer than initially planned, after moving to the UK and were wonderfully looked after. Jen loves animals and treats those staying with her like individuals and they adored her. Even the anxious one. The enclosure was spacious with a lovely garden view and reasonably priced, and Jen was very accommodating with regular visits and helping out with anything that was needed. But best of all was knowing my cats were in such caring hands during an unsettling time for all of us. The personal attention they got and the warmth in the recaps about what they (and their neighbours) had been up to during visits really drove it home. Even the courier who dropped off the cats from Heathrow described Jen as "a lovely lady". Highly, highly recommended.”

The Hound & The Cat
● Closed“We took our 1 year old rescue German Shepherd/Husky to be groomed today not knowing how he would react. We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. Marley was happy to poodle off to be groomed. He came back to us wagging his tail looking and smelling gorgeous. Thank you so much for looking after him and treating him so well. We will see you again soon.”

Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Winchmore Hill, Buckinghamshire
● Closed“This was the 2nd stay for our beautiful cat at Longcroft Winchmore Hill. As before, Emma provided us with a 5 star service... she is so friendly and professional, and our cat comes home looking so calm, sleek, shiny and with a lovely goody bag! With regular contact from Emma and email pictures throughout our holiday, we were happy to see Malteser enjoying her playtime with Emma in Longcroft, using the climbing frame and snoozing in her luxury suite...”

Dulverton Lodge Cat Hotel & Pet Spa
● Closed“I had my cat reside at this lovely home from home cat hotel for the first time recently. I was apprehensive about how he might cope, never having been away before. I need not have worried. Sarah gives a wonderful caring service, and clearly loves looking after cats and thinks of it as a privilege! Max settled easily, and was slways so relaxed when I popped in. Regular updates were provided and great photos attached. It is obvious that the cats who stay at Dulverton get the 5 star treatment, and health and cleanliness are attended to. The cat hotel is very spotlessly clean, and warm and comfortable.... I would highly recommend this establishment for any cat.”

Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Kenley
● Closed“If you want only the best for your furry friends, then this is the place to take them. With only 6 suites, you can be confident that your cats will be getting a lot of love and attention and this is demonstrated in the regular updates and photos that Gabriela sends. They arguably get more treats and attention while holidaying here than they do at home! One of the main reasons we first went with Longcroft Kenley was due to one of our cats needing sub-cutaneous fluids administering during their stay. Gabriela was only too happy to do so and took the time to learn the process and apply it confidently. When he had a small episode during his stay, Gabriela was calm and informative throughout, using her own initiative to manage the problem and giving me the confidence that he was in good hands, significantly reducing the stress of being away while he was unwell. In my experience (since we buy the top tier "all-inclusive" package for their stays) it works out at about twice what we would pay at a normal cattery but you are getting 5 times the service for that price and I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else now.”

Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel East Barnet
● Closed“I would absolutely recommend Longcroft to anyone who is looking for someone to take care of their cat while they are away. Leaving your cat for the first time can feel daunting but Loria was a complete professional and I felt absolutely confident that Rosie was safe and well. Loria really understood all my questions and concerns and was very reassuring. The whole process was very well organised - making everything totally seamless. The regular email updates were really lovely and for the first time I felt like I could relax and not have to worry while I was on holiday. The rooms are lovely and clean and Loria provides fantastic toys and entertainment for the cats - she really goes the extra mile. Rosie appeared completely unfazed by the experience and that is surely the sign of a great stay!”

Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Cole Green, Welwyn Garden City
● Closed“My kitten Crumble recently stayed at the Longcroft in Cole Green for his first holiday away from home. I was so apprehensive to leave him but knew the facilities and care at Longcroft were first class and I was not wrong. Ali was amazing - she took such great care of crumble and kept me updated throughout his stay with pictures of him looking so relaxed and happy. I couldn't recommend them higher!”

-
Errington Lodge Cattery
● Closed“Lovely people who really care about cats. They have a club you can join for a small fee which reduces the fees slightly which is worthwhile. They have an excellent relationship with Darwin Vets in Biggin Hill, which fo my money are the best in the area, which is also reassuring. You do have to provide vaccination certificates for your cats to protect the other guests :). I recommend them their our first choice but they do get booked up early at peak times....”

Cat Tropicana Cattery
● Closed“We left our little 5 year old month Bella with Cat Tropicana for one week during our holiday. We were initially a little bit worried as Bella was only a kitten at the time. Though Tanya re-assured us that she will be in good hands with her. During our holiday, Tanya kept us updated on how Bella was settling in and sent us regular pictures. Bella was indeed in very good hands with Cat Tropicana. You could tell the owners of this cattery are true cat lovers and treat each and every cat with love and personal care. We would definitely recommend Cat Tropicana to anyone and will for sure leave Bella with Tanya again when we go on holiday.”

Oaklands Country Cat Hotel
● Closed“A few days before our holiday our cat had an accident and ended up with broken toes, I was so worried that Oakland's would not want to take her. Louise however was amazing and completely reassuring about looking after her, our cat probably received better care than being at home with us. The cat hotel is beautiful and very peaceful and after a stressful few days before our holiday we were able to go away with complete confidence that our little fur baby was being taken care off. Will always try to get her into Oakland's it's a lovely place.”

● Closed48 Joydens Wood Road, Dartford, Bexley DA5 2HT, United Kingdom“This is such a gem of a cattery!! Eric and Linda are so warm and friendly and you can see from visiting, just how much love and attention they give all the cats in their care. The chalets are so well prepared and have everything a cat needs to play and relax. The overall atmosphere is so settling and calm. Our cat, Adam, stayed here for 10 days over the summer and it was reassuring to know he was in this fantastic place! He came back so relaxed and happy - we are so grateful to Linda and Eric for taking such great care of him!”

Crayside Boarding Cattery
● Closed“Couldn't recommend this cattery enough! Kathy and Simon take great care in what they do and all the fur babies are very well cared for which you can clearly see when you visit. They are very kind and friendly people, Kathy was also very helpful squeezing me in on a last minute booking due to another problem at another cattery. This was the first time my Cleo had stayed away while we went on holiday and I was very worried about leaving her. As soon as I arrived I instantly felt relaxed. The facilties are superbly maintained and the accommodation is spotlessly clean! There is a very relaxed atmosphere here and all of the cats seemed very happy. Cleo has returned home very happy and can clearly see she has been cared for very well. Will definitely be using you again and will recommend to everyone x”
