Café in the Crypt
● Closed“We were vacationing in London and this cafe was recommended by some friends. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. It is a cafeteria style place, so be aware of that. The location is right on Trafalgar Square, near the National Gallery, etc. it might be hard to find because it is just a small glass building on the side of St Martin-in-the-Fields church. The crypt is underneath the church area. The food was very good, as was the service. The location is great if you are going to the National Gallery or nearby sites. This could be a good place if you want a really interesting venue, quick service and in and out experience. I added a screen shot from google to help find the entrance. It is to your right as you face the St Matin-in-the-Fields church. Enjoy!”

Crispy Dosa 100% Pure Vegetarian Restaurant
● Open“We really enjoyed our first meal at Crispy Dosa. We ordered pani poori, bhel poori, Mysore Dosa and mix veg uthappam. Service was excellent, food was delicious, and the portions just right. Our daughter (4) and son (10months) liked the pani poori and uthappam best (their first time having these dishes). Dad's dosa was too spicy for them but was enjoyed by the adults so quickly I didn't take a picture! Atmosphere has a nice chilled out canteen vibe, and we were the only table at the time.”

Ayannas London
● Closed“If you're on the fence about visiting Ayannas, get off it. You'll walk into an intimate space reminiscent of my now 2nd favourite London restaurant: Sparrow. Ayannas takes the top spot from the quality of this focused menu to the well-balanced cocktails and overall presentation. Flawless guest service, food, and drink. It was a quiet night - we were the first guests to arrive for dinner at 7pm - and the owner took this as an opportunity to get us checked in at a comfortable pace. She was even gracious enough to push back our booking time as we were having delays in transit. We enjoyed the boneless curry goat and braised oxtail with rice & peas, alongside freshly made coleslaw and a rich mac & cheese. Very satisfying meal, both in terms of portion size and taste. We didn't have room for dessert but will definitely return to try the chocolate and rum cakes. All in all, Ayannas menu is a true love letter to Jamaican cuisine - highly recommend.”

Cassiobury Park Hub & Daisy’s In The Park
● Closed“I started going to Daisy’s in the park when I got my puppy over a year ago. The staff are very friendly, helpful and so professional, all of them! I really enjoy going there in the morning get my coffee. Their breakfast and cakes are delicious, home-made with a wild variety to choose from. It gets busy over the weekend but they still put a smile on their face and try their best to get rid of the queue. For instance they’ll open the cafeteria downstairs whenever possible. They’re the only cafeteria in the park so weekends get very busy. I usually go around 10am at the weekend to skip the queue. They take cards only since Covid/lockdown which is the new norm in most places anyways. I actually find it reassuring to avoid spreading germs… Covid! They also have hand sanitiser and dog treats. Very generous! My dog loves them :-)”

E9 Cafe London
● Closed267 Well Street, London E9 6RG, United Kingdom“Where do I begin? Out of 3 local cafes in my area the E9 cafe has given me the opportunity to actually write a positive review about. Now don't get me wrong, the other two cafes were 'okay' but that's not what I'm looking for in morning food hunt with the misses. The portion size was great, the E9 special English breakfast was not at all expensive and not burned. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, brang the tea and coffee right away and even the food waiting time was very minimal. Whatever you do wherever you go E9 cafe is the place to be!”
