“Went in late Dec for a meal with my wife. The ambience is quite in your face so if you like a quiet restaurant, maybe here is not for you but they play nice music and it's not so loud you can't talk. Food portions are huge, which we appreciated! Ordered the shared platter for two with a lovely bottle of Greek wine. Waiters were pleasant enough. It's not fancy but it is honest, solid food (and a ton of it), with a robust party atmosphere! It's not cheap but it's also not expensive either. I'd go back.”

“I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. But anyways what i ordered was delicious which was roast duck with bbq sauce on egg fried rice.”

“Had an amazing family meal at Cacio e Pepe early Saturday evening on 31/07/21. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food could not be faulted. In fact, the only fault I could possibly find would be that the starter portions are FAR too generous. We will certainly be sharing starters on our next visit. Very varied menu and everything we had was cooked spot on. Cannot comment on the deserts as we were far too full to even look at the desert menu. All in all a fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant to have on your doorstep.”

“Came here as it was en route to my destination, the reviews looked very promising; well let’s say that The Chunky Teapot did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by Maisy who gave me a menu & advised me to come up to the counter when I was ready order. Now for the food, order what I usually would; Eggs Royale. Came really quickly & well presented. This is without a doubt the best Eggs Royale I’ve ever had. “Best Indian I’ve ever had. No doubt. Very friendly staff and excellent service. They have at least 8 chefs in the kitchen and 6-7 staff waiting tables, so it’s very well run restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming again. Delicious - Balti Jalfreezi, Lamb Kattamita, Lamb Roygan Josh, Onion Bhaji. Some minor adjustments/personal criticisms - Bombay potatoes could do with some more spice and flavour, more coconut with the pashwaari naan, more attention given to size of onions in the balti and the freshness of those onions (some had hard texture)”

“Great tasty food with a warming ambience. African food isnt always cooked well but I applaud the kitchen staff because I truely enjoyed the food. The only down side was that there were no cocktails of my choice but apart from that everyhing else was great. The DJ had me moving and the staff were very much welcoming.
