"The best cafe in the area! Now open on Sunday!!!! The cafe is under new ownership so I've decided to delete my pervious reviews. The food here is still outstanding and the new owner Sergi has kept using the same quality products from before. The bacon and sausage are excellent here! We've also got some lunches added to the menu including a delicious shepherd's pie and they still sell lovely milkshakes. Free WI-FI available Although the pervious owners will be missed the new team here are polite, attentive and professional and food is very fairly priced with excellent size portions. We even have a TV to watch in there now. Highly recommended"

"Helen and I regularly visit here, it's one of the nicest cafes around and fortunately for us it's right on our doorstep! It changed hands a few months ago and initially we were worried that the quality might suffer, but in fact the opposite has happened with some added items expanding the menu. A competitor recently moved in up the road and charges twice the cost of the Halfway Cafe for exactly the same quality, which to me sums up just how good value the Halfway Cafe is. Just a quick nod to the staff too, from top to bottom they are a real happy and friendly bunch, we thoroughly recommend this place in every way!"

"A super cafe. The owner is incredibly gracious and makes you feel very welcome. Service is always with a friendly smile and nothing is too much trouble. The portions are very generous and the price is exceptional for the quality. The chef knows his stuff and makes it look easy, I've still yet to try so many items. Have to try their Spaghetti Bolognese and burgers still. This is how you run a cafe."
