“I think it's between 4.3 to 4.5 stars. At point of review the average stars are 3.9 so I went for 5 stars. Decided to try despite controversial reviews here. Had a pork ramen, it was good, but very unique, details as follows 1. You don't see many pork ramen with chicken stock 2. The texture of ramen is similar to soba instead of the regular texture you expect 3. Everything in the ramen was above average or even exceptional, but in my opinion doesn't go very well together. Their service system may need some getting used to if you are not an expert on Japanese ramen places. Prices are slightly higher than I expected. May come again if I have a hang for their unique bowl of ramen, or probs just try their soba. pss. do Like my review to show your support, much appreciated.”

“Loved the food, it was very authentic and packed a lot of layers of flavour. The green curry was hot but not too spicy for me. Freshly made prawn crackers were brilliant. Mango sticky rice was also great. It's got a wonderful vibe and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!”

Staff are very friendly and my meal was really lovely (love the Unagi Don yum)! It does give me nostalgic memories of my trip to Japan in the past. I would recommend to give Bento Boys a try. “Really authentic hongkong Chinese food and genuinely tastes like home. Slightly pricey food wise but the atmosphere is relaxed and the seats are comfy. I got the whole shebang and whilst I wasn't full (shared with a friend 50/50) I was quite satisfied with the taste of each item.”

“Probably one of the beat Vietnamese restaurants in London. My friends and I went there after go aping in Alexandra Palace. We were the first customers to be seated at opening times at 5pm. Staff were accommodating. Food was comforting and scrumptious and served in great portions. Only took a few photos as we were all starving. Highly recommend.”

The portion of the rice is perfect but hope neta could go a bit thicker even if they have to raise the price (Still very good) gyudong and chicken teriyaki are good too, especially chicken teriyaki is highly recommended if you want hot meals. - tender, soft and the chicken soaked up the sauce pretty well. “Delicious Japanese tapas, look small but you finish completely satisfied. Flavours are amazing, we add the courgette flower and it was really tasty and creamy. The dessert was to die for, we also try the pear one (on the house what it was really nice detail) and we still prefer the pannacotta. I highly recommend the place and go for the tasting menu. Great value for the quality and presentation of the food”

“We have just had the most wonderful takeaway meal Nava thai Ashtead. I can’t single out a dish as it was all so good but the Nava crispy chicken delicious, the curry fantastic, chicken green curry was amazing, and the sweet n sour chicken the best I’ve tasted - oh and don’t forget to add the Honey chicken! and Tom Yum soup If you haven’t Nava thai tried yet, you are missing out!”

“A very very lovely place. I feel so calm when I go here. So my sister discovered Zen Mondo just passing on the street, because of little pots in the window with little black cats on. And little pottery classes on Sundays was advertised and a Japanese restaurant Mon-Sat. So we went to make little pots! And it the most calming, enjoyable hour I've had for a long time. Just 12 people in the little restaurant turned pottery room. 2 weeks later we picked up our little pots and also came for dinner. We ordered 2 types of Green Tea in those satisfyingly heavy iron tea pots, miss soup (gf) sashimi, I highly reccomend the marinated mackerel, avocado and salmon seaweee rolls and udon noodles bowl. Definitely going back.”

“Really delicious food and lovely staff. Pictured for starters are pork skewers with coriander sauce (delicious!!) and chicken satay skewers. Mains were thai green curry with chicken, and thai red curry with duck, lychee and pineapple (the sweetness of the fruit really cut through the richness of the curry. Would defo recommend.”
