Noura Lebanese Restaurant, Kingston
● Closed“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

Stein's Kingston
● Closed“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

The Canbury Arms Kingston
● Closed49 Canbury Park Road, Kingston Upon Thames KT2 6LQ, United Kingdom“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”

Kingston Food Centre
● Closed11 Richmond Road, Kingston Upon Thames KT2 5BW, United Kingdom“Great selection of European foods including fresh fruit/vegetables, sweets, meats, olives, cheeses, frozen foods and snacks. A bit on the pricier side but you tend to see this with imported foods. Clean venue and staff are polite.”

Yimchai (Kingston)
● Closed“This I think is how chinese food should be made. Simple looking but impeccable flavours. I’d come back very often. Very reasonable prices and accommodating service from the team. We ordered the Prawn Curry and Braised Pork. The taste of the curry is authentic and not too overpowering. The pork is so soft I did not even have to chew. Well sone!”

Busaba Kingston Riverside
● Closed“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

Bindaas - The Indian Kitchen.
● Closed“Fantastic food and great service. Been a couple of times now and I really rate the food here - it is quite high end for a local Indian restaurant. My only issue is the atmosphere is a bit too sterile - lighting is too bright and the decor is nice but a bit cold. 5 stars for food and service though. Will be back!”

Fortunella Café
● Closed“A delightful independent café in Kingston town centre serving up great coffee and freshly cooked fare. The owner is always a pleasure to talk to and the staff are friendly and thoughtful. Fortunella takes pride in everything it does - and it does it well. The rather splendid Redchurch espresso blend (by Allpress) provides the foundation to all their coffee, and what better way to enjoy it than in one of their large flat whites. You don’t often see those on offer! Breakfast is just as splendid as the coffee, with lots of breakfast staples on offer made with high quality ingredients. Full English was on point - love the flavourful herby sausage and sourdough toast on the side.”
-
The Grey Horse - SMOK'D
● Closed“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”
